Yes, just yes!

Wow, Just Wow!! This is the game I remember. I used to play this on our new Tandy 1000 on 5 1/4 floppy discs. Between Starflight, Empire Deluxe and Bard's Tale I spent a lot of time on that computer with the old CRT monitor.

Somehow, like others have said, this actually seems like the game I remember but in modern graphics. Some minor tweaks that make the game a better play in today’s world, like the auto mapping. With the limited time I have to play games these days having that feature is nice. I even went and dug out my original copies of the Bard's Tale series and have the paper map of Skara Brae, spells list, etc. I even found my old graph paper with all the dungeons mapped out. I have not looked at those as I want to relearn the game again.

If you have played this game in the past, I highly recommend it again. Not only is it a great nostalgia trip, but they did an incredible job on this remaking. This is the best remake of any game I have ever played. They honestly nailed it. For those that have never played I encourage you to give it a go. This is where the genre began. Old school rpg that is a lot of fun. It might take a bit to get going, but is so well worth it once you get a bit deeper in the game.

For the price you can't go wrong. Buy, enjoy and see you in Skara Brae!!!

This game sucks you in like no other. Gives you the one more turn game play plus also heart wrenching when you loose your best friend to a move you made. Sorry man.

One of the best games I have ever played.

So far I have had no issues with this SE version. Enjoying the game like I did 5 years ago. Graphics to me are just like I had with mods and now runs smoother. I recommend to those who have played and enjoyed in the past.

So far I am enjoying this game immensely. Addicting to say the least, and seems more brutal and faster paced than EU/EW. A must have for strategy fans or turn-based enthusiasts. Once of the best strategy games there is. You will loose hours to it. With expansion it is even better.

Highly recommend this game. Controls are like Skyrim, but game in a very different setting. So many different ways this game will make you jump and keep you on the edge of your seat and want more. You can get lost in this for hours. Not good for my sleep patterns that is for sure. Come enjoy this great game.
