After 2 play-through, for me its the best RPG I have ever played, not perfect, sometimes woke, but most importantly epic, beautiful, addictive, and fun as hell!

Sure its different in style then its predecessor, but I dont live in the past, its 2023, and BG3 is at its best the way it is in its full glorious 3d form. A true successor of its legendary saga.

This studio is now the best AAA studio, and I hope its going to become the norm in the future of gaming where companies become passionate and independent, rid themselves of greedy publishers, stop releasing unfinished games to sell them in 20 DLCs.

Since update 2.0 adding the Immortal Empires campaign (IE) to owners of all 3 games the game is nothing short of a masterpiece that will only get better. IE let you play on the full world map of Warhammer, its huge!

DLCs are really optional and not needed in this game to enjoy it, though all of them add enough to enjoy each race even more.

The new DLC Champions of Chaos is really a must have for chaos fans though.

Went with the hype and bought it. I own most cRPGs.

This game for me was like having a depressing nightmare and you only hope to wake up so it finally end.

The NPCs you meet seem well developed but they are all more or less annoying to different levels (like having zero manners or ♥♥♥♥ attitude, making you feel like bombing this world and start it over would be better then trying to fix it or find happiness in it) or straight boring (learning their life felt like I just wasted time learning the life of uninteresting people without purpose to my context).

Refunded just in time. I just cant feed on pure negativity in my spare time, there is enough in real life as it is.

Then I was relieved. Thank god!

(Being only able to play 2h to get a refund is probably not doing these type of games justice but it is what it is)

Best time ever to enjoy this game since last update! Turn time was cut by more then half!

This game is more about setting up for epic battles then building up Grand Strategy mind you.

Enjoy the best fantasy strategy game in a life time. Buy the 1rst one too so you get the Big map campaign called Mortal Empire (ME) if you can. Then add DLC has you see fit, totally not needed but they are great IMO.

Man why are people so negative about this game??? I didnt have this much fun with an rpg in AGES....

There is tons of reviews already...I recommand to crpg fans that think isometric games make for a better team base experience.

If you, like me, think that Baldur's Gate genre was the best rpg formula even to this day, then I believe that you will absolutely love this game! I have played Pillars of eternity1 and it was good, but it didnt gave me the feeling of epic DnD like adventuring of old days, This one does though! It is a true spiritual successor of BGs for me! AT LAST.

BUT it is way more complex being dnd 3.5+ rules vs 2e rules. similar character creations to NWN1&2 system. Not a cons at all though, a BIG plus on top of this winning isometric formula!

Need to learn alot of things about mechanics and building characters. Its fun IMO. So many possibilities...great replayability right there.

TIPS:
Also there is a mod on Nexus that enable you to respec yourself and companions, cant recommand it enough, even though its obviously not needed, but if you want to respec screwed up characters, you can, or even better if like me, you like playing with story companions but prefer to choose their class then go for it, even more replay value!

The game allow you to recruit mercenaries (non story companions) that you can build the way you want, but I prefer respect story companions IMO.

I want more games like this!

Its just fantastic! and its only the begining!

Im not a fan of third person action games in general (even worst console ports) i got this game on sale for very cheap $. Thank God I didnt pay the full released price...its too short for my taste and too simple and easy, took me only 20h and it couldve been much shorter for others i guess...sure i didnt unlock everything but I didnt feel the need for it either...

I think its over rated too...i mean 91/100 is BS IMO...

75/10 is closer to what it is really...a casual game at best. Is good graphics all people need these days? Maybe im getting too old :P

You are playing behind batman...i mean it! Hes really getting in the way blocking part of the view! Next time put the camera level on his cape so we really cant see those pretty graphic you spent so much time doing lol...

I still recommend it to fans of the genre and fans of batman BUT Its only worth the ON SALE 75% OFF though (imo)
