I recommend GigaBash. The game is a colourful arena brawler where up to four players each control a Kaiju, or titan, and then duke it out with each other. There's a wide variety of monsters, some inspired from movies and tv shows. Rock monster, plant, snail, giant human, a building sized mech, favourites are sure to be had here! The game features several modes to play, including a recently added arcade mode where you fight a set number of random titans before the last big fight against a titan in permanent S-Titan mode.

Oh, the gameplay! Every titan has it's own Normal attacks and Special attack, hold respective button to charge the attack and/or add utility to the move. You can dash around the field and you can block attacks, but not too much or your foe will break your guard. Block and Attack or Special Attack to utilise your titan specific block related moves: Gorogong can either bash around with his arms fending off nearby enemies and destroying projectiles, or make an uppercut, good against jumping enemies or higher positioned ones.

You can grab an enemy(counters it's block too) and punch it up, throw it away or use titan specific grab moves: Pipijuras for instance can place a timed mine on the opponent. General brawling and building destruction rewards you with Giga energy, reap enough of that and enter S-class titan mode: Titan becomes even bigger, and does more damage and is invulnerable to all attacks save from other S-class titans. Attacking S-class titans as a regular titan increases your Giga energy income.

Each map features loads of destruction and become more desolated and the skirmish continiues. Vehicles, terrain pieces can be grabbed and thrown, or sometimes used as clubs to batter your enemies. Even entire buildings can be picked up and thrown! Each map also has a unique feature to mess things up. A tornado might appear, or an avalanche will storm a city. In the map Area 51 you have a sand storm and Mechajuras to content with! After a set amount of time an orb will appear on map, crack it and unleash an Ultimate attack for great justice!

Other modes of play includes free for all and two vs two, both with or without bots. There's a survival mode where you try to defeat as many titans as possible. Mayhem mode, now available in single play, tasks all players with wacky conditions that leads to victory, instead of beatings, such as playing "hot potato" with a giant bomb or throwing UFOs at each other.

GigaBash features four short but sweet campaigns and wonderful music! The tunes are often splendidly spirited, and really fit the Kaiju vs Kaiju action. There's also training modes, unlockable skins, artwork, a juke box to play the music out of battle. Optionally you can enable visual filters on the game giving it the atmosphere of classic Gojira/Godzilla movies.

Speaking of Godzilla, Passion Republic Games have teamed up with Toho Co., Ltd., resulting in DLC that adds four classic Kaiju, including Godzilla.

GigaBash is fun, has heart and is a joy to play, and I recommend GigaBash!

Early Access Review
Prodeus is an FPS with a look and feel of FPSs from the mid/late 90s, currently in early access and it's all I hoped for:)

Prodeus is a "boomer shooter" and that means there is a focus on exploration as well as fighting the foe, and you will fight a lot as the levels are usually populated quite a bit. There are secrets to be found and most levels seem to have an auto-map pick-up which reveals the entire level and in turn makes it easier to scout for secrets. The map is drawn as you go about exploring the level, Like in Doom and Duke Nukem 3d. The Map and auto-map features even work on user made levels.

The setting of the game is a far future where Mankind has been overrun by a force referred to by some sources as Chaos, daemon like entities wielding terrible power, and have turned legions of humans into Chaos controlled Zombies. The "true" Chaos daemons fight with their fearsome physical prowess and innate arcane powers while the Zombies usually fight with human weapons. Then there are the mysterious Prodeus, hostile to Chaos and their Zombies, as well as the protagonist, who is unknown at this point.

Prodeus feature a graphical look that is reminiscent of Quake 1 era 3d FPSs but comes with a graphix suit that allows you to configure how retro you want the game to look. Low resolutions, Pixel/scanlines/CRT overly, dithering included.

The gameplay is fast, full of carnage and is very fun and Prodeus'(the game) protagonist is strong enough to carry the entire arsenal of the game at once. You can shoot limbs off of opponents and do headshots, even in sprite mode, and levels are covered permanently(for that instance) by your bloodletting.

This review is getting long, let's finish this! Prodeus composer is Andrew Hulshult, who was previously seen makin' music for Doom Eternal's first DLC, and he made some banging tunes for this game! Sound effects are satisfyingly meaty as well. Prodeus also comes with a level editor which means more content, potentially including campaigns.

Thus it is that I recommend Prodeus, particularly if you like FPSs and wanna try something from the God Age of FPSs!

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a fantastic game pure and simple. Wrinting up a wonderful Metroidvania formula in the process the game goes about pressing the right buttons for me. Tight, responsive controls send you to gaming bliss from the get go and inspiring music acompany the game. Besides the top notch adventuring there are items to be crafted and quests to get back in your base.

The game features superb animations for just about every character in the game and there are lots of customisations you can make with Miriam, the game's protagonist. There's random drops from your enemies in the game that might result in souring the deal when you really want a specific sort of loot but other than that I don't have major issues with the game though I did encounter some slowdowns of the framerate yesterday

To sum it up: Good combat and exploration, complimented by wonderful music and an intriguing story with a cast of quirky characters, I wholeheartedly recommend this game. 'Tis a gem!

Dusk is a cracking game, a gem! Hailing back to shooters of yore, the game is a fun title to play and it's got great music. Worth a purchase in my opinion!

Foto Flash is a great little game with a simple story: get pictures of beautiful girls! Gameplay consists of the player character(a photographer) finding the girls, asking them for pictures. One then has to do odd jobs for them, like finding special items or get assistance. When requirements are filled pictures are taken and one returns them to Noodle Tease for more bucks(needed in some of your tasks).

The dialoge is written in a humourous and pleasant manner(minor swearing from 2 or so characters) and all the girls are up for the photos, none are forced. The graphics are a kinda retro pixelart affair, a sort of 16bit or early 90s pc graphics style, while the girls' dialogue images and photos are done in a colourful manga/anime style of much higher and smoother resolution. The music is very nice too, some funky tracks and chilling tunes.

Even though the game have been tagged 'Sexual Content' there are no acts of sex in the game, though there is an implied case of masturbation regarding one of the male characters. There IS nudity, in some of the pictures one or both of a girl's nipples are showing and there might also be some butt cleavage on display.

I like this game very much but that's not to say it couldn't use some improvements. Sala City have cars driving around and some seagulls flying over from time to time, but most of the characters in the games stand on the same spot and does not have idle animations, I would love to see characters that moved a bit about on their location area and with idle animations to bring more life into the game. To be fair though most of the game was made by one person, there is only so much one can do. Maybe for a sequel, eh?

And thats it! I recommend this game: It's nice and easy to jump into and figuring out the girls' needs is fun, the game is short and good and it's cheap! Now go get it, you scoundrels!
