15 hours in, I definitely see this game has a lot of potential.

I'm really looking forward to the new biomes and especially dungeons. I appreciate the high resolution textures and modern shaders, dynamic lighting, already-massive map sizes without actually being infinite, and the availability of multiple block shapes to lend more depth to your creations.
Another feature that Rising World has over other similar games is the fact that besides building blocks, nothing else is restricted to a grid, so you can make really complex and dense creations that would just not possible on a 1m x 1m grid.

I have a feeling that further along in development, this game will give me that feeling of wonder again that I had back in 2010, playing another particular popular block-based sandbox game for the first time that I hear is somewhat popular now...
