This game is fun for the first 6 hours or so, then quickly becomes repetitive without much replay value. I feel the reviews are strongly biased in favor of this game because the devs made the incredible Faster Than Light.

It is too deterministic and small scale to support much replay value. Adding some RNGs to combat would help improve this a lot. As is, it feels like battlechess. However, if you are a chess fan or don’t mind buying a game with about 6 hours of gameplay and almost no replay value, then it could still be fun.
