Speechless once you create your account and your standing in the ship bay. Its great to look around impressively in VR. Story is light but adds to the game play. Fun missions, and communication with both NPC and RL players. Able to select ships and load outs you want to use for various missions. Worth the purchase.

This is a fun VR game to play with friends. Enjoyed the story / plot. Humors dialog, customization for weapons, armor and other useful enhancements. Well worth purchasing.

This is a must have if you love VR. For me, taking classic games and getting them to work in VR just puts the game another whole level of playing. In short, you dont realize how big the testing chamber is in Half-Life, until your standing in it virtually!

Using this mod to enhance the classic game makes it very playable. Im using HMD Samsung Odyssey+ - Windows Mixed Reality Headset and it is playable and fun - that is the endgame for playing a game.

After making changes to the setup using the included VR config tool (chosen after clicking play in steam) and customizing the wand controller button mappings to how I like to move, shoot, buttons for flashlight, longjump, cruch, teleport, reload and change weapon, everything works nearly perfect. i.e. everyone loves a huge hamburger, but its a mess to eat, but you can still eat it, and you love it! Thats what this VR mod did for my Half-Life game play after using the VR config tool and customizing my steam VR button mapping.

Do follow Skummeh youtube video. 40 mins is a bit long, but he explains every detail which helps you troubleshoot issues for changes you made for your game play. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6418uXfqkE

My config:
Most important, for steam vr button mapping (while the game is running), have a button mapped to use legacy action. Some levels did not work unless I had a button for this.

As for the VR config tool
only thing on for anti-nausea is keep player orientation on trains
only thing on for movement is enable player turning
all speeds changed to 180 units with turn speed at 100
oh, and im using flashlight toggle and laserpointer only for general
immersion only make levers non-solid on
for vr compat, only enabled hacky fix
ladder is using legacy climb and restrict movement (barely any ladder issues this way for me)
performance, no display vr view, enabled interactive debris (i dont think i really made any changes here.)
visuals, HD models and textures, using default GL_LINEAR
full hud on controllers and all buttons checked
fmod audio with 3D
speach recog on, but not using (havent setup the windows side of this yet, boo)
not using classic mode and no other changes here
no custom input actions

just one other thing, I use the VR mod to load a saved game, then I pull my head set off, hit escape key, and manually select loading a saved game this way. I also do this when saving my game. I do not use quicksave. I save often, usually after a period of say 10 to 15 minutes playing. If I crash (not too often), then I can reload from not far back.

I'll never get to go over seas to see something like this in person. Being able to do this in VR allows me to appreciate this more than seeing it on a flat screen. Thank You

Excellent story, decent VR graphics, good selection of weapons, big points for even my wife likes to play this game with me in co-op games. I got 64 hours in this game, and the Mrs has nearly that as well

Best of all, THEY KEEP UPDATING THE GAME AND ADDING CONTENT! For Free!

Get it, you wont be disappointed! oh, and the sewers is when things really start to get good!

@$15 or less, this is worth it. DOOM VFR has decent graphics that give a good VR immersion feel. Definately take the time to stop and look around when you can. There is a lot of good art work. I did have difficuilty reading the very find print on things such as the fire extengishers , but overall you get a good sense of immersion.

I cranked up my Graphics and turned off locomotion and snap turning. There were a few jitters here and there, but over-all, moving around the environment was smooth. Ya, I also had a few glitches with trying to select different weapons using the donut wheel selector, and I also had challenges at times performing a teleport kill. Over-all, things worked, but can get a little frustrating when they do not. I had to shut off my wand controller from time to time to get them to work again in the game. Interestingly, I do not have to do this in GZDoom 4.6.1 playing Brutal Heretic RPG HD3D.

In the end, its good to have in your library. I also enjoyed some of the classic maps they include in the game from earlier Doom games.

Having recently installed and played ALL the Need for Speed games from The Need for Speed SE to this version, Need for Speed Most Wanted 2012 is a fun game on its own.

I hoping for a continuation of Most Wanted 2005, with character Cross and others that included more story, but sadly, this did not happen. actually, a small part of that was done in Carbon)

What I got from this game was a really nice new city (including the terminal airport from Deluxe pack), with decent atmosphere (sun flares, wet road, EXCELLENT NIGHT lighting and traffic with headlights that really are helpful in darker areas of the map ... BRAVO!!! And a bunch of nice cars (including the hero and movie cars from Deluxe pack (especially love the Liveries / car wraps). Lastly, the police and their SWAT trucks (nice and nasty!) plus the nasty AI racers and cops who are just as aggressive as most nasty players who rather ram than race

The things that are missing are nice car customization, tuning, make your own color, wraps, etc... and manual shifting (very sad this is missing).....but I think the game was made for the casual racer, so in that respect, it met its goals.

On its own, its is a worthy game of purchasing the Deluxe pack including main game for roughly $27.

WOW! Absolutely one of the best VR games (yep, with the MotherVR.0.6.0 add-on) I have played. The graphics and game play of this game is unique in its own class. Gotta have some long VR legs to play this one without getting virtigo, but well worth it.

Push your self to play through the VR realism in this one, its worth it!

unfortunately, the LIMIT in VR feels like really old VR technology. Recommend Jurassic World Blue and Apatosaurus or Blade Runner 2049: memory lab if you want to see and experience what VR movies can be. Even the peoples house was better with the president and first lady. Others are cirque du soleil.

Awesome player that opens any video I throw at it. Plus it has many features that allows you to change the view based on the type of video created.
