neat and clever game design. UI is very smooth and intuitive, better than most card games. Seriously challenging, but never found myself upset that a game mechanic was needlessly unforgiving. Rewards experimentation, and has a nice trickle of environmental storytelling.

I almost never review games, but I'm here to give this game a negative review - which sucks, because this game is awesome. The ships are awesome, the campaign mechanic is cool, the battles are fun, they strike a good balance of investment into specific ships vs. a grinding war of attrition.

But it just doesn't work. Like literally, cannot be played past turn 58 in my campaign. Went on their official forums to see many other people having the same issue. (different than the Intel issue, which is still a pain in the ass) You will have no way of knowing if this game will work or fail on your computer until you are already 30 hours into it. The developer has completely abandoned this game, you will not be receiving technical support (even via steam, the link steam sends you to on the Focus Entertainment website is a dead link lolololllll)

If you're willing to gamble on that, then good luck I guess, but I will be trying to get my money back. Which sucks, because I'd rather play this game - it's awesome.
