The game is not ready yet, too many game breaking bugs.

I'm ok with having limited content but then at least the content shouldn't be this buggy. The game core loop is really good and i'm sure they will fix it, until then this review stay negative.

I encountered multiple game breaking bugs from Delivery Zones not accepting delivery or simply being surrounded by an invisible wall. This is especially frustrating because the game is quite unforgiving and that's literally the last meter where you have to deliver.

I havent played Kenshi for long but there's something to be said about the lack of a good tutorial and onboarding into the game. I'm just over it in 2024 to look for Youtube tutorial to learn everything.

This is more of a judgement about that than the actual game. I never experienced it because it's just too cumbersome to me. Kenshi 2 will hopefully go more with the time.

This is a really good game with some balancing and technical issues.

For the first 10-20 hours the progression feels like it makes sense and the game progresses very nicely by itself and poses new problems that you didn't have before.

It feels really great before it gets to the end game where things start to feel unbalanced and unfinished. The UI is less than optimal but manageable. Too many things are still opaque by the game, and some interface choices are just... weird?

Why does it blur out my resources when I see the overview of the contracts which tell me what resources they want? That's exactly when I want to see my resources???

When you accept a contract you 99.9% of the time will want to ship or set up an order to ship for that contract. The game makes you go into the contracts again where you have to add 3 clicks again before you're back in there to say how you ship it.
Choosing container sizes and clicking everything to the max gets old very very fast when you have to do it a dozen times every 10 minutes. It's fun the first time and meaningful but becomes just annoying at the end of the game. I just stopped even changing the container sizes, I couldn't be bothered with it anymore because I got tired. There's no way to automate income and you're forced to do that manual effort until the end.

Same with the incredible amount of points of interest, they lose their meaning with time.

The endgame performance is also not good, my frames started to drop and I have a highend machine.

I'd rate the game for the early to mid game a solid 9/10 and keep an eye out for what comes next. It's really a gem and very clever in what it does. The only weakness is the end game. It's already worth it's purchase price for sure.

I played 10 hours in 2 days which is a lot for me.

Realistic mode in this game is the hidden treasure. This game is better than any other city build i've ever played. Blows the roadbuilding masturbation from Skylines out of the water. Incredible. Simply incredible.

This is a REALLY good coop game. Don't play on official servers. play with your friends coop. It's really really good and much deeper than it looks like in the beginning.

This game is bananas. I love playing it on my steamdeck. After knowing the background on what this game is critiquing a lot of light bulbs went off.

Absolutely great concept and execution. Love it.

Oh my lord this game is hillarious and addictive, I originally ignored it but that was a mistake. It's really really good.

Runs fantastic on the steam deck. But i shoul not play horror games. This one makes me anxious. But it's a great game.
