I love to hate it and hate to love it.

Everything else about this game is great.
The Negative reviews are related to Ubisoft policy of having authority to remove games from user accounts if they want.
This even continues on steam version of The Crew Motorfest as i can see this base game is called "DLC" on steam store, not Base Game.

Well lets talk about the game itself.
I have been playing Crew, Crew 2 as well as Forza horizon 4- 5 for a long time.
The Crew Motorfest is a feel good game, the graphics are actually good, smooth. The only thing i don't like is the extra punch of colours.
I use Thrustmaster TX Steering wheel and the game plays so good on Steering Wheel.
Like Crew 2, wheel support is massive with ability to customize everything. Gameplay is fun, map is arguably small in comparison to Crew 2 but its still more than enough to play for 300-500 hours easily.

So my end conclusion is that if you want to play a good game with everything from F1 to Endurance to Track races to airplanes, boats, variety of cars, this game is great.
Don't hate it for ubisoft being ugly in their policy, which due to their ego they won't step back, even after knowing they are wrong.

Ivory Tower worked hard and developed it well on the "Snowdrop" engine.
Ubisoft screwed the game sales due to their greedy egoistic policies.

You won't regret buying it, specially on 50% off sale.

With all assists OFF, its unplayable hahaha, teaches how to be patient and slowly learn the game mechanics, not just jump over and start winning. Even smallest of mistake will make you pay.

Its not a core sim based game but hybrid sim enough to keep you engaged in "slow paced" realistic like Trucking game with no highways to cruise but mud and off-roads to bruise.

I love playing this game for its relaxed, no time-bases story missions with some off-story time trials.
This is probably one of best Trucking games out in market.

Thoroughly enjoyable both solo or in co-op. There is no way to communicate in CO-OP game mode though like text chat in-game or voice-chat in game which makes the whole multiplayer experience with randoms non-enjoyable and pointless.

There is no TRAFFIC of any kind, or Ambient, Animals, Sounds of any kind in the game. Completely ignored by the developers, they are busy in new games, ignoring a lot of things, eventually screwing this game as well as newer games they develop. When you don't listen to end-consumers, what they want, like or need, what problems they face and should be worked to be fixed as priority, you cannot develop a better new game ever. Either understand this or better be ready for downfall, with snowrunner being the only success on which you try to leech more customers in other newer games you develop, losing respect everytime you do so.

There are bugs in the game, still unfinished in 2025, unpolished experience.

Steering wheel is highly recommended for this game to be enjoyable, that's why the player base is a bit smaller compared to controller biased arcades out there.

Graphics are good, I wold recommend new players to start normal campaign and finish it to experience the game than playing mods or New Game+ which is full customization making the game either hard or way too easy.

At the end its a game with positives and negatives, negatives which are left "ignored" by the developers.

Communities work harder than developers to make the game alive and sailing smooth till date.

Also, its called SNOW RUNNER but there is more MUD than SNOW in the maps. Its a mixture of both, i would recommend to name the next franchise at "TRUCK RUNNER" or "Truck Runner : Extreme" like that.
