I got this game as a gift from my best friend and was excited to play it even if it was nearly 200 GB to download. Once it finally finished downloading I tried to open the game but nothing happened. Tried it several times bit still nothing. I then had Steam analize the installed datapacks for me and it came back with 912 damaged datapacks. Meaning that for some reason all the data I had downloaded was damaged. I reinstalled the game and tried to run it but again nothing happened and after letting Steam analize it, it came back again with that all 912 datapacks are damaged. After that I deinstalled the game from my Laptop and had my friend get a refund for the game. There are also already forums of other people on the internet that have/had the same problem so it's not a one person fluke and has existed probably since the game came out in March 2023. I'm a bit dissapointed by this and am dreading now what kind of complications I'd have with MW2 and 3.

If I had to give it a rating I'd say 3/5 Stars. The size of the game is very intimidating and the problems I've had with it are the -2 Stars. The 3 stars are for the story, visuals (compiled Cutscenes are watchable on YT) and controller support.

Played single player campaign only.
Usual story, good vs bad.
Good gun fights, sounds.
Recommended for campaign, if on sale.
PVP not my thing.
