Drifter has nice feet...

Let me start off by saying, if you're a newcomer, this will be the best Monster Hunter game for you. This game is much more beginner friendly than the previous titles, this is due to how Capcom designed it to be more accessible as a title for new players and Westerners alike.

If you enjoy games with intense combat where every little movement matters, and you are heavily rewarded for skill, then this is probably a good game for you. This is the nicest looking Monster Hunter game of the entire series, quite incomparably as well. There are some changes to core systems that seem jarring at first to veterans, but they play nicely and are easy to understand for newbies. Almost everything about the gameplay in World blows the earlier games out of the water. Combat feels smoother in this due to added combo chains for each weapon type, as well as finally being able to go above 30fps. World has rewarding grinds, tons of interesting and new monsters to hunt, a kick ass fashion and customization system, and an enjoyable end-game grind. I don't normally do proper reviews, this one is very short but yeah, hope it helped.

Sadly gonna have to agree with the rest of the community on this. Had an Alpha key from the initial release and loved that version of the game to bits, but this current version lacks lots of what made the original Cube World so popular. There are many blatant issues with this build of the game, so until those are either addressed publicly or changed... RIP Cube World 2013-2013.
