Some notes for myself about this game.

- Attempts to attain a level of realism by hedging gameplay convenience
- Enemies detecting noise from implausible locations
- Questionable position of some interface buttons
- Irrational behavior of certain characters when alarmed
- Didn't like the End of Day system
- Steep learning curve, but after mastering it, there's not much depth
- Overall still pretty fun. Great artwork.

If you don't care about the broken achievements, Lara Croft Go is an excellent turn-based puzzle game, with some decent ambient music. But it doesn't really challenge you until you play The Cave of Fire campaign.

Binding of Isaac combines all these genres into a fun arcade-y flash game wrapped in Ed McMillen's macabre art style. Purely keyboard controlled too. Problem is, a playthrough depends on random buffs, so luck is a huge factor. You gotta spend the time to get ♥♥♥♥ unlocked too. So you could dump in a ton of hours to get all the achieves and play a game with your eyes closed. But, why?

Pretty PG-13 shooter that's more action than spooky. Main dude Alan Wake is trapped in his own stories. The game progresses like a TV series and you use light to melt away enemy shields before bullets hurt them. Good for a playthrough (in nightmare diff) but gameplay's never expanded on to not be repetitive, and you're almost always in THE DAMN FOREST. DLC is better but very short and depends on base game. Silent Hill this is not.
