just finished a run where my bullets were about 4 pixels on the screen travelling at mach 5. this game is amazing

once you learn how to actually mod properly this game becomes super fun :D

if this wasn't an fps game, this would be a demolition simulator.

I think that's the best elevator pitch I have for this game. the strategies you unlock by being able to destroy ANY wall or floor are endless. the objective is also dynamic, if you know what you are doing you can move cashouts miles away from where they started. there's also weapons and gadgets that suit every single playstyle. thank you embark for making a pvp game that I actually enjoy playing.

good game, just with some weird balancing issues and terrible optimization. it's fine to play now but you pretty much need an ssd, an above average pc, and maybe to run the game at 720p. needs quite a bit of tlc, still very fun with friends! :)

My all time favorite horde FPS game, and I'm pretty sure it's gonna stay that way forever. Objectives are unique, the enemies can be anywhere (including the roof and walls), and the guns feel satisfying. Would absolutely recommend getting this game and playing with friends. The solo missions are also pretty fun, and I've heard the community is super nice, will update this review once I actually get enough bravery to join a public server. Rock and stone!

PREFACE - I PLAYED THIS WITH UNDERPOWERED HARDWARE FOR VR.

This was one of my earlier VR games, although I got some experience with VR beforehand. Just gonna start out by saying my VR legs are very strong. I played the first half of this standing on a mattress. DON'T DO THIS BY THE WAY, I do NOT recommend it. I don't know how I avoided injury but here we are!

If you don't have the best VR legs, don't use smooth movement and be aware that vehicles may make you sick. I'd recommend tweaking the settings a bit so you get used to it. If vehicles make you sick, there's an option to make the vehicle sections display like a normal 2D monitor. You might need that, the airboat gets a bit jumpy... My one criticism is that the vehicle freecam doesn't really like driving all that well. Trying to drive forward while looking slightly off to the side sometimes resulted in me backing up for some reason. With weapons, the only one that was a bit weird to use was the crossbow. They did a good job with it, the toggle zoom is a great feature! I just missed quite a bit, which I'm guessing is normal.
One last real quick mention: some of my saves instantly crashed the game and I had to go 1-2 saves back. That worked for most of my autosaves, but I did play an extra minute or two once I started playing again. It did get a bit annoying for me, though.

Other than those, this is a REALLY good port of Half-Life 2 (plus the episodes) in VR! Mod support is greatly appreciated! Just maybe sit down if you don't have the best VR legs.
