An absolute must-play if you like co-op FPS games in the vein of Left4Dead or Back4Blood and the like.

If you like first-person puzzle games like Q.U.B.E., Portal and Quantum Conundrum then you're going to love this game. The introduction of the mechanics are easy to understand without being terribly hand-holdy. The story is great and well-voiced. Plenty of good bonus levels that will test more advanced players. The ending is just a little bit unsatisfying since there's only two choices and they both made me feel like if I were part of this story, there'd be more than just those 2 options... but still, a very good story

The game is a bit short if you're good at these types of games but given the price it's hard to complain. If it were a full-price AAA title I would expect more but for the price, it seems about right.

Such a great simulation game, it has a few odd quirks regarding the financials right now though. It's almost useless to "train" any employees because their cost goes up disproportionately to their effectiveness and part of that can also be because the AI can goof up big time and occupy your employees for too long causing problems. I had one stuck on a tree! So often it's more efficient to just keep everyone at the base rating so that if one gets stuck, everything doesn't get neglected and you lose a ton of cash. Food costs also seem to vary WILDLY. One year it might be 14k and the next, 60k, and I haven't added any animals, it's a little annoying. The tools you have to decorate and save things as a group is amazing though, I love it. Career mode feels like way too much of a tutorial for too long, but then again much of this may be because of the aforementioned finance gameplay problems. Still, if you love sims, this is a hard one to beat.

Bought this for my 6 year old daughter, she loves it. She learned many basic gaming concepts from it, from exploring, to problem solving and learning to use the correct tool for the job (since the different characters can do specific things).

I use it as incentive for proper behavior too. Most of her toys she couldn't care less about if we take them as punishment but LEGO Jurassic World? She's not letting this one go lightly.

Early Access Review
As far as a sim, this thing is amazing. I can't think of any other space "sims" that actually dig down this deep into the operation of a spacecraft. As noted there isn't much in the way of content because he's busy putting in the features first but so far it's pretty satisfying just being able to actually maange ship systems at this level. I can't wait to see what else gets put in.

It's an excellent game that doesn't handle high latency (lag) too well. Despite this it is excellent for small groups especially if you play over lan where you can all laugh and yell at each other however the online community is kind of dead. Not a whole lot of players on apparently. Not sure why because why you get a game full of people it's a blast :P

Changing my previously negative review to a tentatively positive review: WARNING - This is a Games for Windows Live! (GFWL) title. You know what that means, you have been warned.

However if you just need to have these titles in your Steam library, it is apparently working now (previously GFWL was not letting me log in or update) so be aware that the game doesn't let you bypass it (at least for me it did not) until you've logged in at least once.

It's interesting to see what this game looks like on today's LCD monitors, back in the day the magic of CRT monitors made this look better than it does now. The analog nature of CRTs definitely blended the colors better. The games seem to work fine on my system so I can't complain. I only put in a little bit of time before going back to edit my review but in that time nothing went weird. Definitely some nostalgic mortal kombat goodness in there so long as GFWL stays out of the way.

The story was great, a bit depressing but great. The turn-based combat had some built-in frustration but still fun. I do wish I could save manually to avoid hours and hours of replaying sections over and over when things went too wrong.

all-in-all a great story-driven turn-based game, worth playing.
