When I was a child, I always dreamed of a game where you could explore an alien planet, and a game where you could explore the ocean. This game is both packed into one, and is literally a dream come true!

What can I say? This game is pure joy to play. The emphasis on realism does make it very challenging, but god do the cars handle beautifully. This will be one you will want to play over and over again, enduring crash after crash, because nothing compares to the satisfaction you'll get when you finally complete your favourite stages flawlessly. Your heart is in your mouth from the moment the race starts, all the way until you roar past the finish line. The graphics are also very beautiful, and the replay feature at the end of a race absolutely outstanding, giving you the chance to take some sexy screenshots. It's a huge shame this game isn't available for sale anymore, I would wholeheartedly recommend it if you can hunt down a game key!

Who knew that a game about fish would hold the answer that I seek?

A short, atmospheric psychological horror game that's artistically beautiful in terms of visuals, music and story. I can't recommend this highly enough. It's not often that a game can make me cry, so I know I've found something special when it does.

I just cannot recommend this mod highly enough. As a Portal veteran, I was very pleasantly surprised with how such a seemingly simple addition in the form of time portals added so many more layers of complexity to the game's formula. The test chambers can be quite challenging - but completing them feels so damn satisfying! The beautiful soundtrack complements the whole experience, and the self-contained story, while not as exciting without GLaDOS, is still a great addition. This mod stands perfectly well alongside Portal and Portal 2, so if you've played those, you should definitely play this too!

First of all, the game is free, so you have no excuse not to give it a shot. If it's not your thing, you can simply just uninstall it and move on. Himno is a relaxing little platformer with a gorgeous art style and a fantastic soundtrack. It isn't the type of game I usually play, but I think it's still worth spending some time in this game just to sink in the visuals and the music.

I should start by making it clear that I received Skyrim Special Edition for free because I own the Legendary Edition (i.e. the original game and all three DLCs).

This review is negative, not because Skyrim itself is bad, but because I think this version of the game is held back by Bethesda's recent business practices. On the contrary, if you haven't played Skyrim and are interested in fantasy RPGs, I wholeheartedly recommend it. If you already own the Legendary Edition however, I suggest you stick with that for the time being.

I don't think Bethesda has made significant enough effort to warrant the higher price of the Special Edition over the original game, and I find it egregious that they would remove it from the store to force people to buy this version. You would assume that they would have at least tried to fix some of the bugs that were present in the Legendary Edition after official support for it ended, but evidently not. Despite the fact that this game is actively supported, the updates it receives are mainly for new Creation Club content. These updates (which do almost nothing for people like me, who don't give a rat's ass about paid mods) require SKSE and all plugins you have installed to be updated by their respective authors every single time. Some rather nasty bugs still exist within the game that I doubt Bethesda will bother to do anything about. For example, there is a bug where having more than a few dozen ESPs (i.e. mods, for those not familiar with modding Bethesda games) causes a significant drop in framerate in some areas, irrespective of what these add to the game. Even empty plugins that add absolutely nothing to the game will cause this bug. Thankfully, we have the modding community to take care of things like this, but that does not mean that Bethesda should not still be held responsible and be expected to fix them. If you already own Skyrim Legendary Edition, I would discourage you from buying the Special Edition. While there are some advantages to this version of the game, the modding scene is much less stable due to the Creation Club updates, not all mods are available for this version, and it fits the recent trend of Bethesda only caring about making a quick buck rather than making good games.

Ten minutes of my life well spent. Very compelling, and excellently reflects the atmosphere of the game.

This game. This ploughin' game, man... This game has changed the way I see fantasy RPGs. This is no doubt one of the best games I've ever played in my life. I love the characters, I love the story, I love the world, I love the gameplay. Thank you, CDPR for this amazing experience that just keeps on giving.

Simply the best military sandbox available to date. It features thousands of hours of content due to the game's sandbox nature, and the endless supply of community made mods and scenarios. Speaking of mods, prepare to experience every single war fantasy you've ever had, from the Napoleonic era to Star Wars, Halo and even Half-Life! All this combined with devs that actually care about their game and their community - what other developer delivers a free update that introduces cool new features for everyone whenever they release DLC? Need I say more? I love this game.
