Awesome sandbox with really satisfying destruction and combat. Make sure to check out the Cortex Command Community Project, which is a **FREE** open-source continuation of this game, which has been abandoned by its original developers. The game is explained poorly, but with enough fiddling around with the tutorial I'm sure you'll get the hang of things.

Game is a bit buggy right now, but that makes sense since its a pre-release closed beta. Game plays great right now, its a challenge and a bloodbath running through each mission.

Plays way better than Ace Combat, but the story is quite lacking compared to AC due to budgetary constraints. Also the fact that its based in the real world takes out some of the allure of the game's setting. Soundtrack is also pretty good.

The fact that you can unlock a plane with a low yield nuclear weapon is awesome and makes it a must play just for that.

343 taking one L after another. They really need to stop making halo games and give it to the fans.

Early Access Review
Really in-depth and satisfying. It will take some time to get used to controlling your ships in an efficient manner, but great bot support and a small but active multiplayer community will always keep you coming back for more. New updates release at a regular interval, introducing major content additions and tweaks to balance. Mod support and Steam Workshop integration ensures longevity for this game.

Much more polished than AS2 or CTA. Still a bit buggy, mostly related to netcode, but if it truly can be seen as a true successor to the Men of War franchise still has to be seen.

Meh. After playing BF4, this game didn't really feel that impactful. I do appreciate the movie-like quality of the game, but sometimes it becomes a bit too overbearing.

As someone who grew up with Ace Combat 5, this game is a great follow up. Mouse and Keyboard controls are a bit bad, and ultrawide support is not there, but you should be playing this with a controller anyways.

Played through it with 2 other people. Gameplay wise, the abilities and gunplay were a huge step up from Borderlands 2 and Pre-Sequel. Graphics were also really nice.
Bad part? Story sucked. Troy and Tyreen weren't good villains, and the ending was really anti-climactic. Also the super trendy and hip sorta vibe that they were going for with a lot of characters and dialogue ended up feeling more like a boomer's attempt to relate to Gen Zers.

Also, Ava is annoying.
