CS:GO Review
CS:GO is without a doubt one of the most competitive games out there.
I am more of a casual player but have still found the game to be very fun with the right lobby. In addition, I can see why it is so competitive.
To preface this, I am a genius with an IQ of over 170. When taking games seriously, nothing can stop me from complete and utter domination of the entire playerbase. However, even being a warrior with the speed of a cheetah, the power of a rhino, and the reflexes of a dragonfly, I have yet to dominate this game. I usually dominate entire games in my sleep, but this one is different. Maybe as soon as I finish my PhD in electrodynamics and my Navy SEAL training I will come back to conquer this game. As for now, I am the greatest casual in all of the game.

(EDIT: To all the women who keep adding me on Steam trying to get my number, please don't be alarmed by the long waitlist. Genius warriors with the speed of a cheetah, the power of a rhino, and the reflexes of a dragonfly are in particularly high demand, so please do not take offense.)

This game is probably one of the most fun realistic shooters I've ever played.
Maps are big and have an enormous amount of detail and places to hide or create sneak attacks. Oftentimes, you aren't able to locate an enemy that is holding down your entire team from a really clever angle. Sometimes, you are able to pull off a really clever flank and mow down the enemy team unexpectedly. In addition, the community as a whole is more friendly and casual than that of hyper-competitive games like CS:GO.
Being a genius with an IQ of 170, the skills needed in this game play well into my highly developed sense of spatial recognition, as I am able to pull of the most clever of clever flanks undetected. My experience in watching countless hours of Navy SEAL operations have translated directly into my gaming skills, giving me unparalleled execution under pressure. In addition, my incredible physical shape has improved my spatial reaction times to inhuman levels.
Quite simply, this game is a challenge for even those of enormous intellect and physical capabilities. Despite my 170 IQ and incredible physical shape, I still occasionally find true rivals. Only the most brilliant and buff dare to play Insurgency.

This visual novel is amazing. I haven't played any visual novel games or anything from the science adventure series, but after watching Steins;Gate, I had to make an exception. Although major plot twists are already exposed after watching the show, the game still manages to provide a new level of detail and experience that makes it worthwhile. This has exceeded my expectations, and I imagine it would be even better if you started playing it out of the box.

The characters are vivid and all have their own quirks and personalities while still feeling 'real.' As a genius with an IQ of 170, I can also relate to the protagonist, Okabe.

The other characters seem to casually dismiss his statements as 'delusions' and 'fantasies' to protect their own egos, only being swept away by his brilliance when it shines brightest. As a fellow genius, this perfectly sums up my experience with competitive peers or people of lesser intelligence.

I'd spent 3,000 more hours if school didn't suck the life out of me.

4,000 Hours+ Later (I was into this game before it went on Steam), this game is still terrible.
Why?

1. Bad Netcoding
I usually get 5-15 Ping on TF2 Servers and I'm commonly accused of ping masking despite the fact that I just have good internet. But in Elsword, no matter how good your internet is, you're going to have bullcrap lag problems that can give you major advantages/disadvantages based on your character. I have people in Elsword saying that I have the "worst internet they've ever seen," but they're generally new players who can't understand that the real problem is that the netcode is sh*t, and my internet is really fast.

2. Character Imbalances
I have a saying in this game that perfectly describes how it is managed.
"Out with the old, In with the new"

Older classes/characters are generally thought of within a range of high and low. The newer characters are agreeably neither, and are regarded as 'god tier' by the community. Why, you ask? KOG likes to add ENORMOUS advantages to the newer characters for some reason, probably to get money from EXP medals and such. The Update that really started to screw up the balance many years ago was the S2 update, and it's just been going downhill from there.

3. Community
Because of KOG's always-broken balance, the players of the community spend most of their time ranting about how bad everything is rather than playing the game. A lot of players (specifically WS mains) tend to argue about the balance of their characters until no end just to defend their skill. There are a few good players that don't do this, but its generally something pretty dumb people do.

4. PvP
PvP has always been the only reason I ever still play this game. The only problem is how easy it is to get away with trolling/playing really cheaply. Players themselves have had to create a meta for how people should play so nobody gets trolled, but it still happens. Some people will stop at nothing to get those few extra rank points or another rank, even sacrificing their reputation along the way.

5. P2P
There are lots of things that you can only get by being a P2P player (2nd skill slot, amirite?). The game is REALLY pay to play, and people that put their money into getting insane gear levels end up being ridiculously overpowered and can stomp on you pretty much regardless of your skill level. This has existed all throughout Elsword's history, but has become a MAJOR, MAJOR ISSUE when the economy started getting messed up.

6. The Economy
Probably one of the worst parts of the game in general. Because of how P2P this game is, getting certain items REALLY matters, but that can be insanely hard with this economy. Prices are over-inflated to hell, and some sellers of Ice Burner sets are only taking cash because of how worthless ED has become. In this game, you'll find that some items are worth over 18 Billion ED. Starting from the bottom nowdays is VERY, VERY hard, and KOG refuses to do anything about it.

7. The Grind
It used to be worse, but nobody likes grinding for their levels and gear. I'd much rather just PvP in the freaking game. Now the major problem is, Korea has different EXP tables than NA which makes the grind a LOT easier on them. This developers seem to only cater to the needs of the Korean players, and pay almost no attention to NA.

TL;DR:
Unless you find out a way to play the Korean Elsword, this is NOT a game you want to play.
