Mediorce at best. The game kicked off great, had an awesome beginning with a big choice that actually effected the game, and it successfully suspended my disbelief and had me moderately emotionally invested. Then as time went on I started to notice more and more flaws that lifted my suspension of disbelief, and ruined the weight and feeling of the game for me. This is more of a story issue but there is game play issues as well, like the odd level design, and weird game features.

Weird Game/Level Design
In some circumstances where you only have a melee weapon, only a few enemies are placed in a building, if you alert them there are no consequences. The cameras are just for show, non functional. You can stealth kill a robot in the begging of the game with a pipe, but can do no such thing later in the game.

While escaping a enormous secured prison, you’d think they would have it more heavily guarded, and you think other prisoners would attempt to escape too. There is examples of just lazy game and map design everywhere like this that takes me out of the game. In a portion of the game where your using a mech, you will get a temporary vehicle health bar that seems to just go up whenever it wanted to, having no real consequences for standing still. Or the seemingly rushed together perk and gun system. There are theses annoying side missions you are forced to do between mission like going to fetch a tool and then being conveniently inconvenienced too add more “play time.”

There is a portion of the game where you go undercover in enemy facility. You can literally shoot and kill everyone in an entire building and no one notices that you just wiped out a sector of their facility. Also in a “main control facility” only has a couple of men in it, ? It’s things like this, situations that have no alternative path if you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, or don't even create other fail conditions besides death, that show me lazy game design.

Weird Story/ Plot Holes
There are various stupid decisions (and unlikely outcomes) that the main character takes, such as sticking his hand in a electrical box to get a battery and then passing out from the charge, getting caught and lined up for excucution, BUT CONVIENTLY placed next to him is the gentleman who needed the battery ( yes he also held on to the battery while he was passed out, IN HIS HAND, and at no point is it communicated that it is put anywhere else) to power a device that would control the robot that was about to execute them( Which was also conveniently the same robot the device was specifically built for.) Then the plot pulls a “Almost kills main villain but they come back angrier” trope. This whole chapter seemed extremely rushed. Constantly main characters are practically invincible and surviving unlikely situations to protect plot.

Another stupid decision is in the end, this time he decided to stab the main antagonist in the body, rather than in the head ( like all other times ) and lets the antagonist pull out a grenade, and just stares at it for a good 5 seconds until it explodes, conveniently forcing him to self sacrifice to make it seem more noble or something? I have no idea.

Rather than being clever and smart, they designed the story so that the underdogs basically get access to God’s Arsenal. Further making the main characters seem invincible, and further lifting my interest in the story.

These all may seem like minor offenses, but they add up. Overall I was unsatisfied, but there was some redeeming qualities.

I'd prefer to play doom 2016 again. This game just didn't really have any charm or attention to detail. The hand holding is increased 10 fold, secretes are way easier. Story seems kind of lazy as of now, and that plus the lacklsuter world building has got me going for the refund.

Plot:
After doing some research for later on up the road, I discovered that major plot points are left unexplained, leaving much to be desired. The game throws you right into the action without providing any background on the floating fortress, doom guys ability to open portals, or how hes suddenly lost all his weapons despite having a massive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fortress. It all feels quite random and lacks the subtlety that made Doom 2016 intriguing from the start. Doom Eternal's plot feels convoluted and hastily put together, resembling Fortnite's seasonal lore rather than a cohesive and engaging narrative. Also, Doom guy not instantly ripping apart a demon when he sees one? Whats going on? Whys he letting them speak while their in front of him?

World Building:
Everything in Doom 2016 made you feel immersed, from pulling weapons/key cards off dead guys to narration in hell. The holograms made sense, as it took place inside the mars base- and added character to the facility. It was much more subtle. Now the holograms are randomly placed on earth and is super overblown, out of place, and just not funny. All of the pickups are flashing, floating and rotating icons, making it feel much more like the arcade version of doom. Which some may like, but I find that it really takes me out of the world, more than I already am. No explanation for the key cards either, their also randomly floating and open random-ass garages on earth. Could they not have come up with a better more immersive way? Doom 2016 was a facility that had people in control rooms with key cards (in their pockets/lanyards!!) to HEFTY bulk head doors that seemed necessary to get a key card for.
Also the details, in doom 2016 you could look around and see the extremely detailed piles of gore and bodies, as compared to the bodies you see in the first level, just copy and pasted amalgamation of low texture grey models squished together, very disappointing.
I liked the idea of DOOM on earth, but it was just not done in an immersive fashion. World building is the type of thing that makes me forget I'm playing a video game, and immerses me in a world. Without it, I quickly remember that everything is a game designed by a human and just instantly makes me disinterested. Its important, and Doom eternal misses that for me.

Gameplay:
I noticed there was no pistol right of the bat, in compensation they made fuel slowly regain for the chainsaw to get ammo from executions more often. This was disappointing, as a low damage but infinite and accurate ammo gun was very helpful and satisfying for taking out the basic demon. Its like the crowbar being taken out of half life (although for VR it was a little more understandable). Melee also does not do damage, you cannot damage any demon into a glory kill state using melee, this was frustrating and almost got me killed in the first level (lol) as I spammed melee and realized this. Weak spots are increasingly more important, turning the enemies into sponges if you do not hit them. Which I was completely fine with, but to a casual player can get a bit annoying. Also, the Cacodemon looks GOOFY AF -like a cartoon- when it swallows explosives, feels extremely out of place.

But hell, if you like heavy metal and killing demons, you'll like this game, as for those who want to be a little more immersed in a different world, I'd pass on this.

adding basic support for the most popular VR headset would probably be very beneficial.

Terraria Is really one of the best games I’ve played, Some people might thinks it’s a waste of time, But if you think about it, every game is a waste of time- But let’s not get into that. Its starts of really slow, but after a while its gets quite fun. And the graphics? Oh com'mon dont be so subbern to the point of judging a game by its graphics.

But let’s actually talk about the game. Some people think that this game is a knock off of Minecraft, but its totally different. They may have some similarities but Terraria is more of a RPG. More bosses, Weapons, Ores. I really loved this game; I would defiantly put this in my top 10 favorite games.

Oh and the music, I ABSOULUTALY LOVE the music. Different themes for different biomes, And even a theme music for that biome underground. Kudos for whoever made the soundtracks. The music play every second of the game, so I really like that.

You don’t think you can make a good house in a 2d game? Wrong. Therese tons- TONS of decretive blocks for building. You can actually get trophies and banners from killing bosses & mobs. I’d suggest this to creative & survivor gamers.
