It is a simple hack'n'slash game, combat is ok, but boss fights can get boring as they are long and repetitive. Multiplayer is a bit disappointing, because you can only do dungeons or bosses with friends and customisation options for custom characters are limited (like really, for example - only 2 hair styles). You can get creative in Multiplayer if you want to (there are actually a lot of different skills/buffs/potions), but it is difficult to find a match with randoms, as well as level discrepancy. In singleplayer you will play Kirito as you need him for most missions, but you can play as most of SAO cast.

The Visual Novel element is good, if you are a SAO fan you will enjoy the interactions between characters, if you don't know about SAO it might be confusing at times. But the story isn't amazing in general.

Recommended for SAO fans, for others it is a simple, mediocre hack'n'slash.

Looks cool, but annoying controls and no instant respawn.

The gameplay is solid, I enjoyed using most weapons and there is a variety of them, but then again, I haven't played many third person shooters except GTA titles. I played on normal and it was quite challenging, mainly because ammo is scarce and you can die from a few shots. There is a squad aspect where you give commands but it is very simple and only useful sometimes when you want to get rid of a certain enemy or when the stun option pops up.

The annoying part is that there are glitches or bugs here and there, such as not being able to take cover or commands being unresponsive.

Yet, as you may know, the story is the part that makes the game stand out and makes in unique, mainly because of psychological aspect with choices and will make you feel quite uncomfortable, but go and experience it yourself. Without it's just a slightly above average third-person shooter.

Haven't played co-op.

Got this for free from some promotion.

8/10

Drifting in eurobeat intense moments is fun, but otherwise there is not a lot to do here, coming from Audiosurf 2.

Game quickly became boring for me outside drifting. I did not feel significant difference between most custom tracks (>innovative MEGA engine), and tracks that get a low difficulty are plain boring, as I was just going straight forward with some drift zones now and then (maybe game dislikes my music, as I tried some eurobeat, japanese rock like AKG, Flow, Scandal and touhou soundtracks). In Audiosurf ninja mode even easier tracks could provide intensity.

I got this game on a sale, but feel somewhat dissapointed.

Something really innovative. But telling more about it would spoil it. Try this yourself.

And also,

this game IS ACTUALLY DISTURBING.

Getting trading cards was a torture. Worst title that I have played on steam.

This is great game, it is engaging, the story is good, performance is great.

However, it is frustrating. After chapter 10 missions will become unpredictable and unfair, you'll have to save a lot because ANYTHING can happen, it seems that sightlines are worse for you than the enemy (for xcom players it's similar to "overwatch").

The pace is extremely slow, you cannot skip enemy turns or make them faster, if you make a mistake you'll have to watch your enemy do a full turn before you can even exit. You also waste a lot of time navigating the menus because they were obviously made for consoles. If you try to control the tank with a mouse it constantly glitches.

There is also no replay value, unless you like to buff one character and run through enemies and secure threir home base after a win. It might not be the same in the first run, and you might just get through these annoying missions because the story is actually interesting.

Game gets somewhat better near the end. But the overall experience was enjoyable.

tl;dr

A fantastic game with small things that sometimes makes it frustrating to play. If you like cute girls (or boys) it's fine then.
