The new engine it is using is fantastic so far. Much better than the original.

I believe that this game can be very fun with a friend. My first 30 minutes, I continuously had to create a game as there were never games already made. People would constantly join and then just leave. The first time I finally jumped into the game, I encountered technical problems and it made the game unplayable. My second actual playthrough, this kid joined the lobby and practically blew out my eyes as he didn't even use a headset and I could hear myself saying hi and hearing him laugh then leave, then rejoin. I waited for his computer to load the game for a good 5 minutes. As soon as I joined the game, I walked over to the walkie talkie and immediately after, it said he has left/disconnected from the game. I put the game down for the night.

Played in VR. I don't recommend it.

It actually runs on my system and is pretty fun. It gets lonely though because of all the noobs who go full ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and don't work together and continuously die. Of course I'm just exagerating. There are some really good players who you get to meet during co-op missions. I am down to play co-op with anyone.
