Such a great game. Controls are simple and easy but also a challenge at the same time.

These pricks removed Linux from NS2 making it worthless for me.

Unknown Worlds no longer gives a ♥♥♥♥ about its original fan base (back when NS was a half life mod) and wants to just roll in the piles of cash...

AVOID!!
Since the new "update" its gone to the crapper.

The bugs are still there.
Less radio stations.
Need the god awful "rockstar spyware app" opps I mean "launcher".
If I bought this after the Australian Consumer Law was broght in I would demand a refund - or just get my bank to reverse the credit card charge. And yes that IS legal in Australia under ACL.

Deceivingly simple game. It has a depth that most are surprised with when they get into the game.

Final Update:

Well, it seems the devs are throwing in the towel, stating its "too hard"[sic] to fix issues. Oh but wait for it - they still are selling it and milking it.

That there is the pure definition of being scum in itself.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!

Update: Exposure update

This has not changed. Instead of fixing crap that is broken they introduced more "features" with extra crap that is broken.

Lets see;
Broken doors - doors state is the exact opposite that is in the GUI - so you cannot pressurize regardless

Broken physics - You travel forward only to be rubber band'ed back. this is on a private dedicated server https://www.ovh.com/world/dedicated-servers/game/1901mc02.xml with only the OS running. So not a resource issue - its a f*ing game issue. Pings to/from the dedi are ~5ms so its not network issues.

Have i changed my view on this - no. Change the game engine ffs.

----Original review below----

The main let down of this game is that it uses Unity.
Unity is **not** a physics engine. It never was. I doubt that it ever will be.
99% of issues comes from using the incorrect game engine for the incorrect job (game).
This game premise relies heavily upon physics. Thus there is the issue.
If this game was using - say for example - Unreal, these physics issues will be resolved.

Devs: Switch to a better game engine or give this up and issue refunds. This is not acceptable.

An ok game if you like point-n-click type adventures.
For the type of game play it shouldn't need DirectX11 - maybe better suited towards DirectX9 or even OpenGL 2.1

Prob made with Unity so not going to hold my breath for Linux.

NB: I got this from Humble Bundle for free

Update after 130 hours since last review:

You know what those hours were? Waiting for bethesda servers to download their so called updates. No game play.

First review:
This game is pure greed. Think differently? take note of the "Creation Club" and the "Survivor bundle"
Enough said

Second Review: Things are still just as bad. I am all for supporting modders but the creation club cancer is a joke. Its nasty as all hell. Not to mention the so called "support" is pathetic to the point of a referral to the ACCC ( https://www.accc.gov.au/ )

If you want a decent game without this money grab - get Oldrim - if you can.

To much MMO, not enough single player action.

Early Access Review
Overall great mechanics and thought has been put into this game.
The one thing that (currently) lets it down - poor graphic support for laptops (nVidia Optimus systems).

After about 30 mins of game play I had to quit as the graphic artifacts were getting too much and was affecting the overal FPS

Graphics - 0/10 - States you need DirectX 10 but trust me you need something that can handle DirectX 12 - basically Windows 10 and a 9xx series nVidia graphics card. Basically keep up with the Jones type of behaviour.
Everything else - 10/10
