Early Access Review
They dropped the Linux native build after some update and now I am forced to use Proton/Wine, which isn't ideal for this game because it's not the most efficient on CPU and GPU and now the performance is subpar with the additional overhead.

If you think "because they don't want to support a smaller userbase" then that is not the case, since there are less MacOS Steam users than Linux Steam users, and the MacOS native build is still up. Nowadays you have to compile for both x86 and ARM for MacOS users to play without an architecture translation layer anyways.

Amazing remake of 2 amazing games containing an amazing character. This is a very fun and cute platformer with a good story
I bought the game and instantly became a Klonoa fan, I can only hope for Klonoa 3 to start development
Buy the game too and become a Klonoa fan, if you weren't already

Sea Dogs: City of Abandoned Ships (originally titled Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships) is one of my favourite games of all time, inside and outside Steam!
It's been 10 years since I first played this game and I probably have over a thousand hours spent on it, and now that the developers launched it on steam, I can finally own it on my favourite platform!

City of Abandoned Ships is a game that occurs in 17th century, on the Caribbean. You can do basically whatever you want, whether you want to become a pirate or a privateer and conquer cities under your nation's name or your own name. You can do a thousand things on this game and the amount of content to explore is incredible, it took me so many years to figure out everything and I probably am still missing on one detail or another! What I like to do the most in CoAS is to do unique missions, nation questlines and capture colonies under the name of the nation I represent.

Besides doing whatever you want, you can also do missions. There are small and repetitive missions and unique, big and important quests which you can only do once but they are rewarding. You can also obtain a letter of marque of a specific nation and fight under that nation's name and complete its unique questline.

There are four nations in this game: England, Spain, France and Holland. Pirates are seen as a faction instead but they cannot put a bounty on your head. You have a relation/reputation for each nation, which can increase or decrease depending on your deeds.

This game is old and I recommend you to modify the files or even use mods (in my case I play without mods but I added my own songs to get rid of the repetitive soundtrack).

Note that this game is very complex for beginners and isn't beginner-friendly at all. I recommend you to google everything you do and don't do.

Fantastic Danmaku Festival 2 is a Touhou fangame that is inspired by the 7th Touhou Project: Perfect Cherry Blossom. This is by far my favourite fangame and there's only one thing I don't like about it, the rest is great!

I usually don't like when Touhou fangames mimic any of the original titles, but in this case, I don't mind it at all. The themes, sound effects and danmaku battles are different enough from PCB to bring their own essence, and it's very appealing!

The game is quite easy to clear, specially in stage 4 and 5, which are extremely easy compared to PCB's stage 4 and 5.

You have 4 playable characters (Reimu, Marisa, Youmu, Sanae) although I don't know why Sakuya isn't here, since she is the third playable character in PCB.

The character design is pretty good and oh my god why is Alice so cute and Yukari so hot

The music is pretty good and I might even buy the OST DLC although I still prefer the original and nostalgic PCB soundtrack.

This game has the big brain idea of using a background to get rid of the 4:3 letterbox!! Such a simple idea but I like it a lot.

The game runs pretty well with low input latency which will satisfy anyone from newcomers to lunatic players, just remember to disable vsync if you are serious when it comes to input latency.

The english in this game isn't the best but it's perfectly fine, don't worry about it.

Now, my problem with this game is how blurry it is! Modern official Touhou games are displayed at 1280x960 max, which is pretty similar to this game's max resolution (1280x720), but no matter what, this game will look blurry. It simply is and it's probably due to the scale filters that are used. Devs, please use sharper scale filters (or fix whatever the problem is that makes the image so blurry). This wouldn't be a problem if I could use Nvidia's sharpening effect in the Nvidia control panel, but for some reason it doesn't work.
Edit: I have fixed the issue by increasing the sharpness on my monitor (in my case Asus vivid pixel), although it would be better with Nvidia's own sharpening filter
