It was an alright way to kill an hour. Dont remember how much i payed for the game, think it was part of a 1$ bundle. So worth it for me.

Rocket Fist is ALOT of fun!

It offers a very well made campaign with 5 Zones to explore, each with their own Boss and increasing difficulty.
The combat feels very smooth, and is playable with a controller, on your keyboard or even with mouse only (Mouse was my choice of control and i loved it!)

As a streamer on Twitch, you are able to connect your chat with the game, naming the enemies in singleplayer after active chatters, which makes for tons of fun.

After completing the campaign (Had to scale down the difficulty to Easy cause im a scrub) we tried out the Local Multiplayer mode VS. Bots, where the chat was able to vote for effects to happen in the game. Like Superspeed, Slowmotion etc.

All in all it was an absolutely amazing experience, and i encourage both casual players, speedrunners and streamers to pick up this game!

(I played the game in a Alpha -Pre Release and expect the game to be even better when it drops May 12th)

Rythmic epilepsy. LOVE IT!

You will continue to see patterns when you're done playing, and this game would probably be life threathening to people with epilepsy. But its AMAZING!

Bought it on sale, and its worth every penny! 10/10

FIRST LOOK =

No menu.
No options.
No settings.
No full controller support. (Lies)
Accidently hitting a button on your controller that appreantly is bound as ESC on keyboard, simply ends your game, no progression is saved, back to non-existing menu.

I might update this review if the game turns out to outshine all this crap im already facing, just having opened the game.

THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON JUST 2 HOURS THE GAME!

The game is overall really solid.
The puzzles are pretty hard.
The art style is superb.
Easy to use controls on a gamepad.

Now, the game takes a turn towards the worse during boss fights. I get that they are supposed to be hard, and i like that they are. But they arent hard in terms of mind-bending puzzles, or hard to master mechanics. Some is simply down to you being lucky that the free floating items and projectiles, work in your favor. This results in ALOT of do-overs and rage quits. But the game made me come back for more, still. <3

THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON 'FIRST LOOK' !

I decided to try out this game for myself, despite the barrage of negative comments. I'm writing this review based on 1 completed campaign match.
I had low expectations to the game, due to the above mentioned. The menu i was taken into, looked very "old" and unpolished, and i was a bit suprised over the lack of graphics options in the menu.

As the game started, i was instantly struck with the feeling of mobile/tablet game graphics. And being a simple twin-stick shooter, i have no idea why this game isnt out solely on mobile devices.
- That being said, i actually really enjoyed my 20 minutes of playing the mission, and will definately revisit the game for another one!

OVERALL:

I'll keep this one very short.

I truly enjoy this game. Great combat. Great visuals, Great Music.

Beautiful graphics will take your breath away countless times.

- Audio bugs out for me frequently. Resulting in studdering. Restarting the game fixes this.
- Crummy controls during the walking part,. that is the majority of the game, made me rage quit a few times. But overall i REALLY enjoyed the game.

If yes, i would definately pick up this title in a bundle. (Oct. 2015)

- Lastly, for those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about how the game takes 20 minutes to complete and has no meaning - You clearly didnt understand it. Don't be a pleb! Play it for yourself. :)
