My VAC Bans

1 VAC ban is for Counter Strike: Source, and applies to all Source games.
This ban occurred 11 years ago when I was 10 years old, the game's unique weapon mechanics were clearly too difficult for me and I thought that this would be a great idea to try apparently, so that landed me with a ban that has lasted about 3,285 days so far.

1 VAC ban is for Rust.
My most recent ban; this occurred over 2,000 days ago and was the result of an increasing frustration to the game. The game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥: spend 10 hours gathering resources and constructing a base, and then lose it all to a single mistake and a couple of minutes. I know that doesn't justify my actions; I'm plagued with this permanent label on my profile that people constantly prejudice against when I'm playing good, and the inability to play some games that a lot of my friends play.

I don't cheat anymore.

Look, I don't say this lightly, but there is a time and place for it: I'm a field-leading innovator in four different areas, and a world leader in one or two. I've worked for some of the most powerful humans alive, and solved problems that defeated entire branches of academia.

I'm a different kind/calibre of smart. Possibly a once in a generation transformational intelligence. You don't see it in any one area of my work, it's the cross-cutting broad horizon: pandemics, nuclear terrorisms, failed states, emergency sheltering, cryptographic applications.
