If you've played Planetfall, Civ, or any other 4x you'll enjoy this game. Its you're standard 4x with some interesting new game play elements.

That being said, if you have a look around the forums you'll find people complaining about the dumbest things. We have people in there saying they have "anxiety" because the CPU usage is over 50%, some guy blaming the game cause he bought some SSD off wish.com and, of course, it exploded under light use. We have people out here complaining that the game doesn't run butter smooth on a 1080... a video card from 6 years ago. Then you have the other side of the coin, kids that have gone HAM on mommy's credit card and bought some overpriced laptop with a "4080"... Sorry folks, a laptop is not a serious gaming machine, it's a stop gap measure until you can setup a real machine or a way to get a quick fix while on the go. Oh no, a tiny piece of plastic with a screen attached get's hot while under load....

The majority of these "pc gamers" should stick to consoles.

There have been garbage console ports recently, but what that has to do with this game I have no idea. Perhaps one of these fragile franks can stop breathing into a bag for 5 seconds and let us know.

I thought the stick was a starter weapon but it turns out that's what you get. I don't know anything about harry potter but my understanding is that the lore is portrayed authentically here.

It's fun for what it is, lots of quests to do and tons of detail in the world. Keep in mind the open world is rather small but it's packed with meaningful content so that's a plus in my book. If you're looking for a fun open-world rpg with fun combat, this will do.

I heard something about a controversy... but as usual after some quick research it turns out that it's only controversial for those that have poor reading comprehension skills and let their opinions get fed to them by others.

So far I'm having a great time with this game and looking forward to my next play session.

This is a great roguelike that gives you a great sense of progression and is constantly keeping things fresh with new weapons, perma-upgrades, sectors to explore, and is wrapped in a seemingly good story (will know more once I progress further).

The graphics and sound are solid.

-1 for adding epic spyware as a prerequisite. It would have been better if this was optional.

I've read some complaints about performance so I tried to help, what I found was that in all cases people are running a ton of crap in the background, chrome open with 30 tabs and rocking 16GB of RAM. You know its cope as some say "some of us are more sensitive to stutters". No, some of you are just stupid and really have no business owning a computer. Please do us a all a favor and go back to your consoles.

2. Impactful choices
3. Character & Party building is fun.
4. EE adds some good quality of life changes while staying true to the original.

If you want to go on a great adventure this is the game for you.

Great game, reminds me a bit of playing Disciples in terms of combat and area exploration but its definitely unique in a lot of ways. Managing your knights, alignment and castle is interesting. The combat is engaging, easy to learn, but offers depth through each knights unique set of abilities and gear.

I would recommend this to fans of RPGs who like character development and story, although beware the world exploration is limited to whatever area your missions happens to be in but that's not a huge deterrent as what this game does, it does well.

So many whiny maggots these days... "Oh I played 100 hours and something weird happened, game sucks", then you have the guy that hasn't even played the game "My 2nd cousins best friends barber says he heard on youtube the game sucks. don't buy it".

This is a fun simcade, fun driving and good support for peripherals and telemetry. If you normally play sim titles and want something that's a little more light on realism and just focuses on having a good time then I would recommend this game.

This game is amazing, there really isn't anything else like it.

1. Exploring the world is very satisfying, a perfect balance of risk vs reward.
2. Base management that doesn't feel like a chore, rewarding enough to keep you out in the world looking for more stuff.
3. Fun combat, the combat itself isn't difficult. The difficulty is set before your first swing is swung meaning that things like being prepared, and choosing the parameters of the engagement increase your odds of victory vs twitch shooting and rapid clicking.
4. Fair number of maps to choose from, you can travel freely between them with your survivor group.

So what will you be doing here? Simply put, you'll get to recruit a roster of survivors each with their own unique traits which could help with either building stuff, killing stuff, or looting stuff. You'll get to play each one individually as survivors get tired and need time to rest, as you slowly find yourself getting attached to these knuckleheads you will also be on the look out for new locations that you can claim as your base. Each location has a fixed number of facilities that can be created there, some will even have facilities ready to go once you move in. You'll make friends and foes as well, other groups of survivors can become great trade partners or another problem that needs to put down.

If you're into survival games, picking through trash for loot, and indiscriminate killing of zombies this game might be for you.

This game is a lot of fun.

1. Graphics are really cool. Awesome explosions and other fx.
2. Lots of different units.
3. The maps they have released so far make for interesting battles.
4. Good music and sound effects.

It's still early access so there isn't a campaign or anything like that, no tutorial either but overall things are easy to understand once you start playing around.

My advice, watch out for these bastards that like to hide in the damn bushes :)

So far it's be fun and is very much like a traditional MMO but with ARPG style controls which is something that I've been wanting to try for some time.

1. Great theme park MMO feel. Lot's of quests and things to do. The quests and mobs in the world as super easy, only difficulty is in dungeon boss battles and PvP. I like this style as the primary focus is gear progression and bosses.
2. World bosses are fun and challenging sometimes, although it can get easy if they get zerg'd.
3. You get a mount right away which is awesome, you also get a boat and a fortress that servers as your home based to do crafting, board missions (WoW style garrison missions), and other stuff I haven't unlocked yet.
4. Combat is good, fair amount of skills and customization. You get ability stones later on that add more variety as well.
5. Crafting and gathering has been interesting so far. The progression system there has been entertaining and you're not locked to a few of them as you can do all gathering skills.
6. The boats are a cool feature for getting around the world, you get "crew members" sort of but its really just a roster and you choose who's on the ship at any point in time.

Some things I don't like so far.

1. UI can be confusing, will require some reading.
2. Not many cool items in the store available for purchase.
3. The voice acting seems robotic at times, pretty sure they used AI on some of the characters as their expressions are completely off.
4. Characters are isolated to specific servers, could benefit from a BDO style system.
