What is there to say that hasn't already been said? Personally I think that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a gaming phenomenon which is going to really change how RPG devs handle their games from now on. The story of Geralt continues throughout his adventure through Tameria meeting former partners, comrades and enemies in a not so black and white morality setting free for player interpretation. The story (or should I say tens of stories) are absolutely incredible. Not one has made me lose immersion with one in particular really hitting me hard (for players: the one where he trys to help cure the village outcast) which was a hard thing to pull off seeing the sheer vastness of the infrastructure was not easy to pick a single standout moment.
The gameplay is very good yet not the pinnical of the generation like some make it out to be. This is no dark souls and that is a good thing based on the tone they're aiming for. The comabat is fluid and varied to a suitable degree with two focuses (monster and human) in battle mechanics. There is a different set of rules for each enemy and battle, often even depending on terrain which has a huge effect on how you use your spells and consumables. Dialogue choice presentation is nice whilst being the most simplistic it could be, however beware sometimes what you pick isn't in the tone you expect but generally this is not an issue at all.
Performance. For an early 2015 game this has help up remarkably in graphical fedelity however being rather demanding as expected with how it runs. There appears to be an increase in performance after a year an a half of consistant updates... Not too sure though.
CD Project red is an incredible studio at this point, outshining many others and really showing e.g. Bethesdas flaws by listening to player feedback for bugs and the odd glitch and apparently never ceasing work on the free DLC. As the dlc has now come to a climactic end (I cannot vouch for the paid DLC yet but will update when I can) the witcher could quite possibly have twice the content of the launch model. DLC seems to be a negatively connnotated word at this point, with people charging a tenna (roughly $12 for you Americans) for the game to progress faster, but Red take the cake when it comes to it. From what I can tell they're more like the good ol' 'spansion packs containing what seem to be entire games in themselves.
In conclusion, this could be a contender for game of the generation having an outsanding story and indeed the way it tells it, gameplay intergrated in a way that makes sense, seemingly endless sidequests that alone could destroy the likes of skyrim and graphics which immerse you to a degree of which this is your world and as Geralt (don't get me started on roach, hes decent but ehhh). If you don't already own this game and are interesting in starting out on a heavy RPG and have 'several' hours for pure quality entertainment then this is the game for you. 9.5/10 (but on a scale where 1 is goat sim and ten is a literal godlike being)

For twelve forty nine on sale, you too could sponser a geralt and take a horse out to slaughter some water hags.

Very very good, story is exceptional with character development that varies depending on your choices from early stages taking effect several episodes later. Art style is very nice and slightly more styleistic than the borderlands series which is a nice touch.
And now we come to the bad things, telltale's engine is starting to show its age, animations can be clunky and simple, lip sync is not quite up to scratch also it plays like anyother game they have made. On top of that, on your first playthrough most choices seem to have big impacts and dialogue to suit your choice however, this is just an illusion and an example of just how good the writing is. Once you have begun your second playthrough this becomes blaitantly obvious and seriously reduces the charm which once surrounded the exciting new adventure that you embark on from pressing the start button. The mechanics become exposed from that point on unless you are willing to invest yourself deeply which will eventually happen anyway! The voice acting is enticing and interesting which compliments th superb writing in what used to be a bland universe full of loot kill loot kill, telltale really made a game which has an even better narrative than what it is based upon as well as still retaining the full lore.
Overall the comedic action adventure story is what you have come for and that is what you are getting by the motherload. Go and buy it now thanks bye.
Buy it now please.
Stop reading this thin wearing joke.

Very entertaining, gunplay is very satisfying, a great open building with many aspects similar to payday bank heists and you can speedrun it in under ten minutes.

It's the best Wii ga- I mean it's an amazing yet simple tabletop racer in a category that has has been in decline on PC.

A shame that it crashes once in a while but overall an amazing local multiplayer experience!
