I'm very disappointed with this game, especially considering the unusually high reviews it has.

Gameplay is absolutely lacking compared to many other visual novels.

Choices don't really matter; it is very on-rails with just a couple of decisions thrown around here and there.

The comedy is meh, and it does not improve with the very gratuitous and repetitive cursing.

The only good thing about the game is the consistent voice acting.

I would have asked for a refund if I still could but I made the mistake of keeping it for more than 2 weeks before actually trying it out.

Skip it.

Played in Co-op with my wife, using Steam Link app so she could play on the TV in the living room while I played on the PC. We both fought for Karlach's love, and failed in the process. Still amazing.
Had an absolute blast through the whole game, and encountered bugs that made the experience even more enjoyable.
Angered Gale by mistake. Still amazing.
Game of the year without a doubt.

Phenomenal game, with a superb level of meta-experience akin to other Daniel Mullins games like The Hex or Pony Island.
Would love to erase memory and play it again with the same level of wonder and awe as things unfold.

It is FUN

After 4013 hours, I have grown to love it.
