Seems like it could be a fun game... But for me, personally, ship piloting needs to have 6 degrees of freedom before it gets there.

I don't know if it's the EA app or what but this game runs like trash.

Trash, I'm only leaving this review because I was brought to New World's latest DLC when clicking on Remnant II.

The worst part of this game is how long it took to come to PC.

Grim Dawn
A true spiritual successor to Diablo II. It comes jam packed with quests, skills, classes, and a story that you can pay attention to.. or not... and that's not a bad thing. The story is worth paying attention to, but if you are more into theory crafting the game can be easily beaten without a thought for the story. So all good marks in my book.

Reservations
Build diversity in the game is a myth and with the 30 something possible class combinations that seems impossible, trust me its not.

A grim dawn build amounts to one question: What flavor of tank do you want to play?
Every class, no matter how much damage they do, will need to be able to take a hit. I don't mean the occasional stray spell/bullet from a boss/minion. I mean you need to be able to stand there and tank a beating. This is because high mobility skills, like blink, do not exist. The best you can hope for is a small speed increase. Yet even stacking these speed increases are not enough, as bosses can stun lock you. Sure you can build resistance to being stunned but you will never be able to mitigate stuns to zero seconds. Meaning, survivability in Grim Dawn comes from two sources life steal and damage resistances. The trademark abilities of a tank. Glass cannons are about positioning and high mobility. Two things that you will struggle to achieve.

Conclusion
Its a good game.
If you like building glass cannons, keep looking.
If you like building tanky toons check it out, its a lot of fun.
