I never review games, but I had to for this one. Before buying it, I saw a review I didn’t think much of at the time, but after playing, it turned out to be completely true: “This game tries to be everything, but became nothing.”

It tries to have climbing like Assassin’s Creed, but most of the time it doesn’t work when you actually need it. It attempts to include gang and horse bonding like Red Dead, but you don’t really connect with any of the gang members nothing about them feels memorable. Even now, after finishing the story, I can’t remember any of their names except the playable characters. As for the horse, there’s no real bonding; you just ride long enough to unlock better benefits.

And for the most important aspect the combat it mostly comes down to spamming the same button, with a few extra inputs depending on the boss. Sadly, it just wasn’t fun.

If you’ve seen clips of dragon riding, I’m sorry to say you probably won’t enjoy it as much as you think (I won’t spoil anything in case you still want to try the game).

I would only recommend this game to someone who enjoys single-player games and has nothing else left to play.
