Achievements are not working properly, and with the last patch I've lost the cosmetics that I had paid for.
Since my tickets are being ignored by the support, I will only change this review once I get my items back.

Edit: I really like this game and I intend to play it for a long time. I first tried it when it was free on Epic, and then I decided to pay for it on Steam.
My friends and I have been waiting for a hotfix, since we're worried that all of our progress will be overwritten if we play any further.

I used to love this game. I've played it for 6 years and ended up selling my account. The predatory monetization and the lack of direction is just too ridiculous.

Surprisingly satisfying to play. The feedback is just perfect.

However, I've noticed that the AI doesn't feel like good to play against. As soon as you hit the ball the AI knows if it's going in or not, and just stands there if it detects you are going to miss, which takes away some of the excitement.
Also, the "Send challenge" button in the multiplayer lobby doesn't work really well.

I hope they add a workshop in the future so people can create minigames and environments.

Simple yet incredibly precise and satisfying controls, especially with mouse and keyboard.
Makes me want to watch The Thing again.
