I had played the demo and it was somehow better than the live version. Right now it's quite buggy and finicky, so I'll wait. Honestly, there's no reason for it not to be smoothlined by now. It's just janky.

So far from all those I've played, this is the only worthy successor to Theme Hospital. The others are somehow lacking... I hope the DLC is as good as the base game!

Having so much fun with this, but I'm trying to not get upset about not being able to fulfill everyone's requests lol! Can't wait to see what's more down the road.

Oh, and, Tyler, don't listen to people who say you can't do this alone, Eric Barrone managed Stardew Valley all alone for years, and now he's got a second game in the works, also alone. You got this far, you can go as further as you want. Good luck!

It's definitely GOTY 2025, but it's also clearly a platform game. It's really not easy to play this game on the PC without a controller, you'll say get a controller, yeah nah, my arthritis isn't controller compatible anymore sadly. It's a game you need to play without interruptions around you, with headphones on, parries and dodges timing are difficult to make out without the visual or audio cues, and the inability to save at any point is also limiting.

Other than that the game gave me some serious FF9 vibes first time I got in combat mode and for the first half hour I couldn't stop crying from all the, well, the story and nostalgia bit. It's truly an awesome game if you can overlook the things I mentioned above. I'm going to get it for my son as well, because kids need to learn some good games these days. I just wish I could play more of it, but it taxes me during the day.

The dual combat system is unique and refreshing to play. The story is compelling. The graphics are stunning. The dialogues are beautiful and well written. The choices matter. Overall the best new RPG I've played this year, and maybe even the year before. If it wasn't for the weird screen tearing during combat quite often, it'd be simply perfect. PLEASE fix the tearing.

If there's one game of late that's a true Return to Form for gaming, it's this one.

Granted, the graphical style is one you must like, but I wasn't a fan originally either, games like this changed my mind. I haven't delved too deep yet, but so far it's solid, has humour, you're annoyingly a wimp faultering about initially (as should be) with a stick and a plank for shield, and the environment has no issue goring you to death in an instant if you try to be a hero. The story is nice, it leads you where it needs you to be while also giving you the freedom to do things your way, I'm really having a nostalgia moment but with better UI. Crafting is something you actually do use, and that's much appreciated really, most games on normal you just forget that crafting exists, which is a shame. In this one, if you don't craft, you die. Lots of good things, I have a feeling I'll be coming back at a later date to add more to the list.

This game is awesome. For real, it's really something to play in between the heavy hitters but it requires a clear head and detail to attention, and I thought I had those things, but guess again! XD I'll beat the nightmare mode eventually!

Very steep learning curve, but so much goodness when you do things right. Oh man, this game is not for the casual gamer that's for sure... all the electrical engineering I never had to learn in my life I'm learning now, to power up my base... Never to be said that games do not provide education! I have formed a new apprecitation for heavy duty wiring...
