I dislike that there's no more of it. MORE OF IT!!! MORE!!!! MOOOOOOOOOOORE!!!!!!

Also, thank you for not making it a s s to play without a controller.

The dual combat system is unique and refreshing to play. The story is compelling. The graphics are stunning. The dialogues are beautiful and well written. The choices matter. Overall the best new RPG I've played this year, and maybe even the year before. If it wasn't for the weird screen tearing during combat quite often, it'd be simply perfect. PLEASE fix the tearing.

If there's one game of late that's a true Return to Form for gaming, it's this one.

Granted, the graphical style is one you must like, but I wasn't a fan originally either, games like this changed my mind. I haven't delved too deep yet, but so far it's solid, has humour, you're annoyingly a wimp faultering about initially (as should be) with a stick and a plank for shield, and the environment has no issue goring you to death in an instant if you try to be a hero. The story is nice, it leads you where it needs you to be while also giving you the freedom to do things your way, I'm really having a nostalgia moment but with better UI. Crafting is something you actually do use, and that's much appreciated really, most games on normal you just forget that crafting exists, which is a shame. In this one, if you don't craft, you die. Lots of good things, I have a feeling I'll be coming back at a later date to add more to the list.

This game is awesome. For real, it's really something to play in between the heavy hitters but it requires a clear head and detail to attention, and I thought I had those things, but guess again! XD I'll beat the nightmare mode eventually!

Very steep learning curve, but so much goodness when you do things right. Oh man, this game is not for the casual gamer that's for sure... all the electrical engineering I never had to learn in my life I'm learning now, to power up my base... Never to be said that games do not provide education! I have formed a new apprecitation for heavy duty wiring...

The game is gorgeous and very well made. That having been said, I can recommend it ONLY if the following three things do not apply to you or do not bother you:

- You don't have a fear of heights or recurrent nightmares about cats falling off balconies and ledges
- You don't mind using a controller to play on PC
- You don't mind not being able to save.

Personally I managed to see through my acrophobia and I can retry running from the zurk with M/K until I get it, but I can't not being able to save. The game only has autosave "every checkpoint" which is a vaguely defined occurence, and the only workaround is to keep music sheets handy for every time you need to save, and I find that ridiculous and counterintuitive. This is clearly a console game that wasn't ported properly for PC. Otherwise I'd be playing the game right now.

Very refreshingly unique design, great story, captures the atmosphere of the era marvelously, a few of the conversations are a bit too modern, but that's really the only bad thing I can think of, like instead of "give me a second" a guy says "give me a sec". Well, you can see why I totally recommend the game, then. Edit: This is my pick for GOTY.

Listen, this may very well be the very last game by good old Obsidian, the one we knew and loved. It's funny, spirited, has good writing, an exciting plot, relatable companions, and is huge heaps of fun to play. Already played it when it first released on the PS, very glad to have it again for the PC.

Honestly, this and Chapter 1 are crap. They had something going there with the Devil's Daughter and Crime and Punishments and they decided to piss on it. And what's with their eyes being so far apart anyway? Bad overall.
