I would advise STRONGLY against picking this game up at this point (release day).

It's not just "first day bugs". The game has lots of bugs that really shouldn't happen (like carpets spawning UNDER floors), tutorials out of order, no particular structure...quite frankly, it's not even at the quality and stability the demo was at. Somehow the full version works even less good than the demo did.

It also saddens me because the structure of the game and some of the concepts and ideas aren't bad. But the way the game currently is just isn't ready for the public eye. Devs, if you read this, I hope you don't hesitate to put some work in the upcoming month to fix some of the worts bugs, structure up the gameplay and make it rewarding to progress. Right now you can kinda just skip playing more than half of each level and still just progress successfully to the next one. The incentive to clean out the entire places are too low to feel reward as is.

Hoping to change my review to a positive one once these things hopefully happen, because like said: You've got a great game on your hands, but it needs some more work.

Great game, but nothing actually functions as it's supposed to right now.

This includes:

-Cutscenes may or may not play when you enter a level.

-If you banish (nicely or meanly) any entity BEFORE they actually activate, you'll be stuck with the objective to banish them, but no way to actually DO so.

-The fuseboxes might just bug out and not allow you to keep them on, even if there's no ghosts/entities left, the fusebox will be turned off, and every time you try to turn it back on, it'll be on for a second and then go back off again, OR fuses will randomly burn out while you're standing there replacing them, OR their sockets will just explode while you're replacing them, this means you have to do every level IN THE DARK if it happens!

-Items will quite literally appear out of nowhere, become unfixably broken, or get dirtied when you turn around at complete and utter random, but there's no entity that does ANY of those effects, and it can happen even when you've banished and cleaned everything, potentially taking away 100%s.

-Sirin is "nicely" banished by finding a tiny, miniscule egg that cannot be bought from the store... Remember that things randomly teleport or fly across the room, and you have a recipe for "can only banish it the Mean way".

-Broken ceilings and floors have 0 impact on cash gain, even though you literally must fix ALL the wallpaper in the level to 100% it.

-100%ing anything in any room just gives 10 bucks, which isn't even enough to recoup the costs FOR 100%ing those rooms

-Rooms will incorrectly track broken and/or missing objects, sometimes the room is completely cleaned, wallpapered, floored, but will say there's missing or broken objects, except the store will then say there's no missing objects in the room, and there won't be any broken ones visible anywhere.

-if you have the Lantern pet, he bugs out, either being stuck to your feet and showing up in the "need to banish" objective, or duplicating when getting back to the Apartment.

-Pet effects don't work at all.

-Some trash objects are so tiny that they're nearly impossible to pick up (if they're not phasing into a windowsill or wall, that is) .

-Outline indicators for broken/fixable objects are sometimes missing, and none of the broken light fixtures actually get highlighted when using the broken object detection.

-Light counts in rooms can be at -1, and stocking a room with the amount listed does absolutely nothing.

The amazing thing is, the REST of the game works as intended- the telekinesis and teleportation work perfectly despite the other bugs, the ghosts and entities respond to everything they're supposed to, and just about every OTHER system works fine! It's extremely confusing!

I gave it an hour to impress or at least draw me in but it was nothing but a buggy confusing mess. Very little is explained and even what IS told to you is insufficient. Literally had to look up a youtube video on how to get the crystal to spawn to smash it.

Take a picture of the bat only to be told to buy something from the store that randomly unlocked some time later. What unlocked it? No clue. Also the shopping menu is a labyrinth so good luck finding the bat cage!

The placement/carrying mechanics are also terrible. Furniture jitters and falls over if you place things near or on them and using telekinesis at all is like fighting the game itself.
