I was surprised by this. Finished under 2hrs, but the game was not designed to be about grinding. To me, this was relaxing Saturday night nostalgic entertainment with a great soundtrack. I would like to see s follow up game. For the price of a takeout, this game is worth it.

Again, a fun family friendly game, however those little red eyed plant people might give kids the willies. LostWinds 2 do have an atmospheric feel like a Nintendo title such as Zelda.
The puzzles are a bit more challenging this time and will require some good mouse dexterity.

I encountered no bugs with normal 100% play through

Completed in 3 hours with 100% achievements.

Cute family friendly and artistic game that reminded me of the Nintendo DS game, Soul Bubbles.
I did not encounter any bugs and I believe it is because the dev team kept the game simplified to the core which is great. No need for all the bells and whistles to add complexity.

The controls are very easy, and if you managed to rig a Nintendo Wii-mote as mouse pointer to your PC this is very entertaining.

The music was soothing and the sound effects supported the atmosphere. The animation was smooth and when the main character accidentally somehow fell behind an object like a jump mushroom the character would recover gracefully.

Had no performance issues as all.

Overall, good clean simplified fun title introducing you to the LostWinds series.

Such an entertaining hidden object and puzzle game with really good humouristic artwork. The music is fitting for the very delightful themes from popular shows. Does not seem that the design of the game was to be challenging, but rather for the giggles. This is actually better than buying a comic of related material because you need to use your brain. On the achievements side, having time-based, secrets, using hints, and difficulty would have added a little more replay value. On the interaction side, placing or forcing the incorrect item onto a scenario could have be a bit more insulting. Difficulty could have been added by not showing highlights or hints.

Purchased v2.0 on special, and I feel guilty.

Just put in over 50hrs and I'll give it my thumbs up. Had more fun than going out for a KFC meal that would have costed me the same.

Played my first 10hrs on an Intel G620, 16GB RAM, 1050Ti, and Windows 8.1 at an average of 5 to 20fps. Then upgraded to 3rdGen i7 3770 and now playing at 45 to 60fps. The only times it crashed was when I bumped the graphics too high.

The dev team really did a nice job and put in a lot effort into this. Obviously, early access users were complaining, but in my experience those are people who does not understand what early access mean and, in general, should learn how to manage their expectations better.

The workshops add some variety and shows good community support.

The only complaint I have is some audio becoming extremely annoying such as when your inventory is full and after identifying life on a planet when receiving units.

Would have liked a standalone server setup like what we get with ARK.

What an amazing adventure! I enjoyed the game even with all the bugs such as constant animation and audio glitches, objects not rendering in time, action delays, conversations with NPC's responding 45 seconds later, and sudden frame drops.

This would have been a great 9hr movie!

One of the games other than the Diablo series and Final Fantasy series that I have played more than 150hrs.

The reason I enjoy this game is because it worked when I started with my GTX550Ti and the great sense of adventure with an amazing variety of creatures as well as environments that I frequently just stare at. I have never played it on the public servers due to complaints of people not capable of behaving. Just reading up on the creatures feels like a fun way to teach people about dinosaurs. Wonder if we can apply it to other domains as well. The people that keep the wiki up to date are amazing and just shows what can be done when there is a great community.

The bugs are acceptable for me because in a game this scale there are bound to be issues.
The frequent patches add something interesting to experiment with. The fact I can host a LAN server with great admin console capabilities made this a title that can live long in the community. Not to mention the modding.

Whoever came up, designed, modelled, coded, animated, and textured the otter, kudo's to you! I have not ever felt such guilt losing a pet to a shark, and a raptor, and dare I say, a dodo.

The only problem I have is how frequently I get disappointed that there is no cave hidden under a waterfall. :)

@Dev team - Really, thank you and keep up the great work.

Early Access Review
Just spent my 1st 8hrs on this Early Access purchased during the Steam Summer Sale 2019 for 30% discount. Basically the price of a meal without drinks at a restaurant that only provided me 1hour of "pleasure".

In short, this game is pretty looking, good basic mechanics, and has great potential. It does give me nostalgia of my first sessions in ARK when I lived on a raft as a nomad using the same mechanics.

However, this game is much more simplistic, easier, and forgiving when it comes to predators.

Classic. I did not expect that I would complete it under 20hrs. Abviously highly recommended getting into the world of Rapture. But, play Bioshock infinate first. The gameplay was smooth and the graphics acceptably good. the controls took me a while but during the final battle I learned that you can change your bullet type with the b-key.

There is an audio setting you need to set to get audio working. The solution is posted all over so no problem really.
