I never got to play Subnautica in early access, but when I bought that game and played it through I could not stop playing it over and over again. The absolute loneliness in that game made it a true survival experience. This is what I wish this game had, even though it is still stunningly beautiful. That is the HUGE plus to this game. The visuals, detail, and vibrancy is absolutely amazing. I am glad I have been able to play this while it is in development. I do recommend this game because overall it is still really good, even though the survival aspect isn't very highlighted in this sequel to Subnautica.
HOWEVER the story IS being changed! This means that there is a chance the full, in depth survival experience may make it's way back to this work of art. Buy this game now to watch the new story come to life, or wait for the 1.0 release and play the fully updated sequel to Subnautica. Either way, your experience will be great.

I got this game when it first came to steam for free, and I have already put 156 hours into it because I love it so much. The story lines up with all the expansions and even the pvp is well developed. I am very impressed and enjoy this game very much.

Yeah... I reccomend it, but it is so pay to win everything. Around every corner you have to pay for something. But the gameplay is very strategic and takes a decent amount of skill compared to other games.
