I started playing recently so missed all of the early game stuff. I've played over 100 hours and yes there are some issues but overall it's a really great game. Beautiful graphics, and I can't think of a better way to do open world/sandbox than have it be in space. There is always something to do in the game - upgrades, missions, base building, learning recipes, traveling further. Finding cool and unique planets is a delight, and some of them are so gorgeous. I love that there is cross-platform play so I can play with my partner on the PlayStation.

This game has consumed my life recently and I have no regrets how much time I've put into it. I haven't gotten hooked by a game in a long time!

Super buggy. I've spent more time finding ways to get the game to work correctly than is reasonable. I've tried verifying the cache, reinstalling the game, changing graphics settings, changing the compatibility, doing some other work-arounds as suggested by others.

And for the last 24 hours every time I try to play the game it crashes after about 10 seconds, even after a reinstall.

Steam refuses to give me a refund for a known broken game, so buyer beware. Make sure you read other reviews of this game and find out for yourself that it becomes more bugged the further you get into the campaigns before you decide to buy it.

I won't leave a fancy review but this game is excellent. It's not pay-to-win and there are so many different things to do and learn that you'll never be bored. I love building and leveling my teams and finding new fun things to do.

It's okay. I don't actually have 316 hours as I seem to have a habit of leaving the game running when I'm not playing. I enjoy the game. It's worth the few bucks I paid.

What's not to love? The only thing I would change is making it possible to click on an issue from the list in the top left or from the tab at the top that shows prisoners with complaints and it would show you the prisoner or the issue on the screen.

I mean, it's okay, but it's not my favorite. You have to play through the small puzzles to get to the bigger ones, and the bigger ones can be too difficult sometimes. But, it's a good way to spend time and worth the small cost.
