hi guys, i've just purchased pictopix and I was wondering how to create custom nonograms. Is it possible?

So I dunno if I'm missing something obvious here or what but I've cruised through expert mode this entire time until this level right here (Page 5, 3rd level in row 3), and have absolutely no idea what to do. Even turning the hints *on* I still don't understand how any of these columns are logically possible to do something in. I saw a previous discussion posted 1 1/2 years back, for something similar, unknown if there's a fix? I occasionally get my whole computer to freeze up when playing Challenge Mode, its the only game I own that does this. I'm forced to hard shutdown the computer whenever it happens....

Is it just me, or is the third-to-last 10x10 puzzle unsolvable? :/

I've tried fedora and linux mint on two different PCs, both with proprietary nvidia drivers and nouvea drivers and neither one is playable. After launching the game the main menu comes up as just a light blue screen with no buttons or any UI, no text, nothing. The music is playing and doesn't stutter or anything. Pressing F4 to close the game does work....
