CS:GO is probably the FPS game that has the highest skill ceiling.

I have been following this game as a Game Tester for almost a year now, and I've seen it evolve in that time period. When I first saw this game, it was with my school, with my game design class mates last year. We were visiting game companies, and GhostShip Games were on the list. I saw their offices and they introduced me to the game and I immediately saw how original this game is.

The CO-OP gameplay, as the trailer says, is rock solid. Each class has its own role in the mines, and they work really well together. The Engineer can place a platform underneath some minerals, and The Scout can use his grabling hook to get to it. The Driller is very handy when taking out dirt blocking a tunnel, and can be a game-saver in the end when the Drop Pod is in some odd location.

The combat in this game is awesome and the weapons have a really satisfying feel to them. While some weapons, like The Driller's pistol, are pretty weak, they also have plenty of ammo to counter it. And the weapons that are more powerful, like The Gunner's pistol, have less ammo. The detonation packs for The Driller and The Gunner are very handy if you wanna take out a group of aliens or one or more praetorians quickly.
You will find yourself doing a lot of missions in order to get all the materials for upgrading your gear. This gives you something to achieve while keeping you in the game for longer.

The graphics are simple, while still being interesting to look at. Biomes like Crytalline Caverns have very beatiful light from the blue crystals, while others are completely dark at all times. Lighting up the caves are done by throwing flares which regenerate over time. The Scout also has a flare gun which emits more light and makes it easy to spot Caves Leeches in the ceiling. When you're playing alone you tend to run out of flares very often and find yourself in darkness, so having teammates around you is crucial when it comes to lighting.

I definitely recommend this game to everyone that likes CO-OP, First Person Shooter games. 9/10.

This game is nearly perfect. The only things I dislike is the horse, Roach, when you call for her, she always spawns in some stupid location. Either behind a building or out of your reach.
Second, when you die, you have to load an entire saved game, which is a slow process. This makes dying really annoying.

I think Valve fixed it now, kinda... Just bring back pubs again and it's all good!
