I really don't know what to say, apart from this game is a miracle. I have NO IDEA why it hasn't hit the mainstream. The fact that ONE PERSON has developed this is mind boggling. As good as they are, this game grabbed me by the balls (tightly) far, far more than Dwarf Fortress or Rimworld, both of which I highly rate. The sheer possibilities of scale within this game are phenomenal, and unheard of. Just try the free demo - I sank 40 hours into that, until I decided "just take my money"! You are an inspiration Gamatron, you deserve an accolade for this achievement.

If you're a fan of colony builders, and spreadsheet gaming with complex interactions, your journey has ended and started with Songs of Syx.

This game.....gaaaaaaaah....this DUNGEON! Thick blades and thick black pen strokes. Relentless in its need to stop you in your tracks and cast despondency upon you. However, take your time and get to know your party, their quirks, their afflictions, how their cracked psyches might actually play well together. But don't get too close, for they will most likely soon be consigned to an early grave. Equip them well and train them up, and carefully pick through the riches that are to be found in the dark, that they might live to fight another day.

Bask in their glory as they defeat unimaginable foes, and cower in their despair as they run, gibbering from the indescribable adversaries. Let them drink away their sorrows at the tavern, bleed themselves dry of their sins...lose their minds and crave the blood.

There is nothing else like this (well...Darkest Dungeon II, probably), and it is here to be tamed, if you are willing...and able.

Ahem. Bought on a whim, but then, whilst experiencing crashes with E:D, and reinstalling, I decided to boot this up and have a go. Needless to say, I haven't yet checked if my reinstall of E:D has fixed the crashing problem.

This game is relaxation itself, and sooo moreish. Just want to microwave more asteroids and search for the valuable chunks. A lot of experimentation and very little hand holding make for an experience of poking and prodding, trial and error t o find out the mechanics.

For a top-down 2D hard sci-fi, this scratches an itch I didn't know I had.

What can I say, A game that's been in development forever, yet still receives regular, solid updates that have only progressed and enhanced the gameplay. The most realistic zombie apocalypse simulator out there, with absolutely tons of content. With about 250 hrs under my belt, there are still game mechanics I still haven't touched.

It's a tough game, but I can't recommend it enough.

It generally takes something pretty special (or dire) for me to review a game. In this case, the developers of Hollow Knight have created something EXTRA special. Held in high standards in the Metroidvania genre of games, the allure of this game in particular comes from a luscious and beautiful art style with fantastic soundtrack compositions. A big game with great level design, fantastic enemies and a myriad of boss fights, I'm only around 11 hours in.

Cannot recommend it enough.

As a lover of Minesweeper, this game is insane. 100's of items and synergies between them enhance the simple mechanic to one of ultimate greatness. I had absolutely no idea that I've been waiting all my life for this. This game will take years from my life through lost sleep.

Help me.

I love origami. That was one reason I decided to pick up this game. However, it actually has nothing to do with folding paper - just a pleasant aesthetic texture to the game resembling paper.

Nice puzzler with with increasing difficulty and hints system. The learning curve is adequate so far and I'm only onto the second last group of puzzles in the "classic" section.

I have one gripe, however. My son was watching me play and he is colour blind. He is unable to discern the colours (e.g. the red and the orange are the same colour to him). Perhaps developers who design colour based games could take this condition into consideration and include a setting for those afflicted by colour blindness.

I just couldnae believe it when I cracked open the Velocibox...how in God's name was I to cope?

Then, distant suppressed memories of that sadist Cavanagh's Super Hexagon floated to the forefront of my mind and I remembered that all it takes is time and adjustment.

In saying that I've still only got to the start of level 2 in this insane Twitch, RageQuit genius of a game. Too many dimensions for my tiny mind to cope with. Watch and enjoy the faux rage as it turns to the real deal.

The Forest....reminds of home. People with missing teeth and scars and, curiously, no genitals.

This Early Access number has come a long way through it's development. This review is looking at Alpha 0.15B.

You are welcomed to 'The Forest' by a beautifully lush environment which belies the actual horrific nature of the game. Principally from the Survival Horror, the gameplay melds action adventure with structure building. Not many games give me the willies, but this one sets the hairs on the back of my legs on end, and I have very hairy legs.....I've got a 'Let's Play' which will indicate the 'creepiness' of the game. Extremely atmospheric audio helps catapult this game into my favourite list.

Do you like inventory management? Do you just love procedural roguelikes? Do you adore a gritty, apocalyptic setting reminiscent of Fallout? Do you dig highly detailed combat? What about a realistic crafting system? Monsters? Gauges? Health management? Cannibalism? Shoes?

CAN YOU LIVE WITH PERMADEATH?

For an Early Access Game, this is astounding. Flash based, lightweight, fathoms deep - I can't stop playing

Join me. You know you want to...
