Lots of crashing. I loved the first game and wanted to love this one but always get to a point where the bugs are too much. IF they were ignorable bugs like bodies sticking to the trunk of a car (like CP2077) I could keep playing but it's always crash to desktop. Happens every time I click on the missiles upgrade for the car. Gave it plenty of time for bug fixing but maybe I just won't finish this one.

Everyone is mad about the PSN business but I didn't even make it that far. This game has the absolute worst cheat protection and it doesn't even support real PvP. Please make it make sense.

It's also just really boring... not an open world game at all, you load into an instance with a couple coops, shoot the same monsters over and over, pop back up to your ship, maybe buy a new gun or device, repeat.

I want to love it but it feels like the base upgrades are all you're "living" for. Build up a base, wander among the same resources for miles, use them to build up, make a bunch of O2 and water and go on an adventure.... get lost, start a new base, build it up... rinse, repeat.

There are gold trunks and blueprint pops here and there, and occasional resource deposits other than the standard 4-5, but they have limited utility and the excitement of finding them quickly dissipates. Maybe worth another try once they get more content into the game.

A lot of hours on record here and what can I say--it's a great game! Most bugs have been worked out and with LukeRoss' help, it's now my favorite VR game. It's not without its flaws, which I'll include below.

The good:
- Fantastic graphics and gameplay
- Simple but useful crafting system
- Runs well on a high end machine (YMMV if less)
- Modeled after the original Steve Jackson Cyberpunk tabletop game

The bad mostly affects replayability:
- Some cutscenes/convos are very long and cannot be skipped
- You can get to the other endings by loading a save
- No multiplayer or endgame content
- Still an occasional bug that requires a save reload

Now that it's running much more smoothly after some patch time, it's an easy buy, especially when on sale. Highly recommended!

I don't really understand all the hate for this game, so I feel obligated to leave some words. I threw the dice on this game while it was on sale and enjoyed it from beginning to end. It works a lot like Tom Clancy's The Division in that it's a cover-based FPS. It's also something of a "unknown gem" short-hauler like Rage or similar "surface level" FPS games with just a touch of depth.

Overall, I'd say Outriders is easily worth it on sale for a fun weekend's worth of blasting bad guys and hanging some trophies.

Are you looking for an easy-to-learn "do stuff" game to take your mind off of your busy life? Take a step into House Flipper and do some odd jobs, roll up enough cash to buy your first zombie flip and get to work!

The Good:
- Easy to learn and appropriate for young children (*in game options help with bug infestations=>broken glass)
- It's easy to get lost in a project--helps take your mind off of real life things
- May inspire you to clean or remodel your real life house, as you start noticing small easy-to-fix things

The Bad:
- Graphics and music aren't going to blow you away
- Limited content is expanded by DLCs

If you can catch it on a sale, this is an easy buy. If you need something different to tide you over to that new AAA title or keep your mind off of work/wars/pandemic/etc. this is still a great buy at full price. Peace of mind has no price.

One of the best in the series. Great gameplay and story, with side missions and tasks that keep you engaged. Easily worth picking up on sale!

Fantastic game. Only took about 20 hours to complete but every moment of that was savory goodness. Still look forward to playing more since there's still plenty of fun to be had after finishing the plot.

Good stuff:
- Lots of fun weapons and different ways to deal with enemies/security
- Great setting and mood--definitely has that System Shock 2 feel
- Comic-style cutscenes are amusing
- Plenty of "oh sh!t" moments, as well as satisfying enemy-owning moments

My only real complaint is that it's hard to get any real life stuff done with that next docked ship waiting for you. Easily worth the full price of the game--even more so when on sale.

So I know what you're thinking.. why should I buy a game with such abhorrent reviews? Well, maybe you shouldn't--not for full release price, at least. But let me tell you, this is a great shooter that is a lot of hours of fun, even for a solo player like me. First, I'll run down the good and the bad.

The Good:
Easy controls, awesome graphics and atmosphere, great gameplay for solo or team players, and an engaging storyline.

The Bad:
An occaional (usually non-game-breaking) bug, very simplistic crafting system, short game, and few (particularly solo) endgame options.

So it looks like I "beat" the game in about 60 hours. Not a very long game. But I had a lot of fun doing it. Best of all, I got to do it solo and at my own pace! Once you get to where I am, it's a lot of re-running old missions, running raids with others, and running through the Dark Zone--also with others, if you're smart. So I'm taking a hiatus from this game until it has more content and I feel like running through it with a new character. But I'll definitely be keeping this gem in my back pocket for when I need to jump into a game and mow down a bunch of baddies after a hard week of real life. More content will be coming and this game isn't "dying" or going away.

Why all the bad reviews? I personally think they come from a lot of Dark Zone butthurt and lack of endgame content. People get bored of re-running old missions and raid missions and turn to the Dark Zone. Don't get me wrong--it sucks to pick up a lot of decent loot just to have it pulled out from under you while trying to extract from the DZ. Even moreso now that they've made extractions even more difficult for solo players. But the people enjoying the DZ aren't here leaving good reviews because... they're enjoying the DZ. So hopefully this review helps bring some balance.

My advice? If you like FPSes and like to solo, pick this game up. If neither of those apply, or if your wallet is a bit strained, click that wish list button and wait for someone else to buy it for you or for it to go on sale!
