Cruising through the dungeon at 60 mph listening to LoFi dungeon wave and slashing everything in my path while collecting items and leveling all my abilities. It's a fun romp. You get lost sometimes in the spooky corridors but I consider the game to be partially a maze game as many of these older style of first person dungeon crawlers are. So if backtracking or being confused seriously piss you off that might impact your enjoyment of it.

I really did not expect to be enjoying this game as much as I am. There is a fair amount of jankyness to this game, but none of it is game breaking. Just the movement can feel kinda floaty, jumping is super weird, and the servers have had some slight rubberbanding moments but their population has been increasing steadily the last few days.

Mount and Blade style combat with some additional rpg elements that make it play more like a class based mmo. Which is a good thing, because the way sieges are constantly happening and the relatively small pop (3.5k online yesterday woo) you can really build your own fighting style and reputation over time. The game features a 3-way ongoing faction war between 3 unique cultures based on vikings, knights, and roman aesthetics. If you are new to directional action combat as seen in many medieval combat games, I think this is a great game to start learning it on, because not only is there constant pvp action to partake in, there's lots of pve stuff to do and holy smokes the mobs actually do feint attacks, shield bashes, kicks, very much like real players with varying degrees of difficulty. You will not only get your practice in, but obtain some valuable loot and character xp to build your character with. You can also queue for risk-free duels and 3v3 team fights at any time.

This game also has a robust life skill system attached to it. You can spend many hours leveling up your professions and then using it to buy high-end equipment and supplies to take with you on to the battlefield. It's actually a really chill way to play just wandering the country side harvesting all the nodes you find and killing bandits/doing world quests.

Like I said though this game does have a large amount of jank that I would be negligent not to mention at least twice in this review. ALSO, the first 50 levels are an extremely forgettable blur of kill quests and fetch quests, that serve to teach the basic mechanics of the game but are also extremely boring. Technically you could just jump into the open world sandbox without doing them but they do get you 50 out of the 100 levels, and some decent starter gear before you jump into siege pvp, skilling, dueling, or whatever you feel like. So it is very worth it and only takes about 3 hours if you go fast.

I would give this game like a 7 out of 10, mainly for fans of medieval combat games, and fans of MMOs.

Simple fun MMOFPS with cute Stalker aesthetic, faction based pvp with looting other players (not their equip), a very dangerous and interesting game world to explore, collect ultra rare magic rocks known as Artifacts, enjoy the fast paced gun-play, bet your hard earned money on duels, play 5v5 mode, and fight pvp wars over bases at the end-game.

Cash shop only has weapon skins for 5 bucks and an optional bonus xp premium sub. It's very F2P friendly.

Pull up a chair, smash some monsters, do some dungeons, fight epic raids, level your character almost endlessly, make another character do it again but it's easier every time. Explore the maps, gather collectibles for unique skins to flex, flirt with cute girl npcs for bonus dialogue (and more hehe). Join a guild and form friendships forged on the battlefield. Participate in any of the many server wide events that take place daily and get to know your servers community. One day you'll be rolling 10 characters deep and the next patch is only a month away. You run out of gold from all the gear you've been upgrading and then you find a super rare drop to sell and then you're back in the game. Smilegate has cracked the mmo formula with this game and I can't wait to see where it goes with its now international fanbase.
