Not a bad game, but clearly not part of the best shooters IMO.
Gun play feels off to me: when not in slow motion, firing accuracy is bad, such that with the fast pace of the game and the amount of spread, you are guaranteed to miss miserably.
Also Ultrawide is badly supported (typical issue with UE4)

Finished it twice playing with my two elder children, extremely enjoyable and brilliantly executed

As good as a classic retro FPS can be. It has vibes of classic Doom and feels already very polished. Glad I backed it up on KS.

The game has certainly a lot of potential and looks really good, but I feel the free sandbox mode is too limited for now. It will certainly get a lot better once new track elements will be added (bridges, road crossing, tunnels, advanced station models and track switching mechanics) and once different train models will become available.
I will definitely change my review once the game gets updated. IMO the game feels too empty content-wise and gameplay-wise, even for early access. There are for now too little guarantees that the final game will fulfill its promises.

I highly recommend Deus Ex Mankind Divided. Although the story does not drive to a proper conclusion, it is very dense and very detailed, with a lot of side quests and well designed characters. The gameplay is very close to Human Revolution with some minor improvements there and there. The DLCs are very worth playing, especially A Criminal Past.

The old recipe form Commandos / Desperados is back and brilliantly executed. The game feels very polished and the character design and abilities are top notch.

Shallow gameplay, uninspired story.
Recommended? Not really.

Art and design are quite unique in this game. Fun action platformer with interesting gameplay additions (would not really qualify as metroidvania as far as I can tell). Having a pleasant time with this game, highly recommended.
