This is by far, the most gorgeous games that I have played in a long time. The colors are almost overwhelming, with reds, and greens, and blues all over the place. This is far from the post apocalyptic landscape that we have been over the years, with nothing but browns and grays. The characters could be called 'cartoony', but they are very nice cartoons that are well drawn and have a sense of personality all their own.

Gameplay is what you would expect from a platformer. There is no jump button, but you do have a nice dodge roll. Your movement is rather show, but I find it prevents me from falling with the pace it keeps. With how the terrain appears, it comes up from under your feet, it is possible to get a head of it. But you are instantly back in the action in two seconds. The combat is really all over the place. You have a sword, hammer, gun, bow and arrow, another gun, duel guns, a pike, an arrow gun, and even more. So you have choice with how you want to play and how to upgrade them.

The story is where this game really shines. Something has happened and most of the human race is gone in the blink of an eye. You run out to the safe haven that was set a side for just such an occasion. One might think someone saw this coming. There you find you can launch yourself to other areas in the hopes of restoring the haven and creating peace over the possible half acre land that is not infested with life that wants to kill you.

All this is narrated by a voice actor that deserves more work. Oh wait, there is a DOTA 2 add on the Steam sales page that lets you use the same narrator as the announcer?! That should say it all. He's great and I want him in more things.

Should you play this game? YES! I'm ashamed I waited this long to play it. You should have already played it and most of you already have.
