BF1 offers an immersive WW1 experience. The graphics are stunning and the game is historically accurate for the most part. The game features expansive large-scale battles, realistic weapons and diverse map pool. The single player campaign acts like an anthology which is quite compelling and well put together. DICE have done a decent job at portraying the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ side of war shown from all the perspectives. The campaign is very much on the shorter side.
Never bothered with the multiplayer part but I've heard good things about it except the cheaters.
All-in-all, a solid offering from DICE and probably the last decent BF game we'll get.

Batman Arkham Knight takes the Dark Knight's legacy to new heights. The open-world Gotham is a playground of justice and chaos, beautifully designed and brimming with content. The Bat-mobile integration is a game-changer, offering exhilarating driving and combat mechanics. Can't believe this game is almost a decade old and still has the visual fidelity that can deal blows to current-gen games. Just like all the preceding games in the trilogy this one has top-notch combat and stealth. The improved batsuit looks amazing. Traversing through Gotham using glides and boost is a breeze. Loved the mysterious Arkham Knight character. Joker's performance in this one is second to none.
Wish Rocksteady made more games like this.

Plague Tale: Innocence is an absolute gem that took me on an emotional roller-coaster. Right from the beginning, its captivating narrative and meticulously designed world immersed me in a harrowing journey of survival during the plague-stricken medieval times. The characters are so well-developed evoking their struggles, fears, and triumphs as if they were your own.

The game's unique blend of stealth, puzzle-solving, and storytelling kept me engaged at every step. Navigating through swarms of rats and unravelling the mysteries of a world in chaos is both thrilling and heart-wrenching. The use of light and shadows adds a layer of tension that keeps you on your toes.

Visually stunning and backed by a hauntingly atmospheric soundtrack, Plague Tale: Innocence is an unforgettable experience. Its emotional depth and well-crafted gameplay make it a must-play for anyone looking for a captivating narrative-driven adventure. Prepare to be moved and captivated by this dark tale of innocence in the face of adversity.

Let me preface this by saying why I hate modern gaming. Almost all the games are cash grabs; aggressive in-game monetization, micro-transactions, pay-walled campaign missions, locked content all that jazz.

New heroes are locked behind battlepass. You either purchase the pass and get the hero from the get-go or complete half the battlepass. In a game that encourages you to switch characters to counter the opponent pick, I see this as an absolute problem. Although I'll agree that blizzard's implementation of handing out xp to finish the battlepass might be one of the most generous when it comes to live-service games (I'm looking at you VALORANT); finishing weeklies, dailies and you'd be done in almost no time. To add to that, the xp needed to unlock the next tier does not increase which is nice. There's also double xp weekends towards the end of the season.

Locking important story behind paywalls leads to an incomplete experience for players who are interested in the overwatch lore but don't want to spend additional money. I'd have preferred if it were a one time purchase for all the PvE missions but nope, they're going to drip feed the content and people willing to pay will have to make recurring purchases. Guess YouTube walkthroughs FTW.

The skin bundle pricing is absolutely egregious. 20$ for a bundle is crazy in the current economy. Even though it has zero effect on the gameplay, It'd be nice to have some good looking skins. When OW2 first launched, you couldn't purchase individual items from the bundle. They seem to have changed this however, purchasing a single skin costs just as much as the bundle to begin with. Practices like these erode consumer trust in the gaming industry leading to skepticism & reluctance to support new games.

Blizzard management somehow fk'ed up one of the most beloved IPs and this includes both the game as well as the esports, OWL.

I feel sorry for the devs who have done as much as they could. The art and lore is amazing; honestly one of the best in my opinion. They always knock it out of the park when it comes to cinematic, origin stories and the anime shorts. Dragons & Honor and Glory are among my favourites. The new heroes and game modes are usually fun to play.
OW R34 goes crazy. Easily the best ones I've ever seen. Hats off to the animators and artists for putting in that much work.

With all that being said,
FK ACTIVISION-BLIZZARD, FK THE MANAGEMENT
AND FK BOBBY COCKDICK.

Eh, it's just alright, nothing to write home about. You know, decent if you ain't splurging, and even better if you snag it on sale, like finding a rare gem in a clearance bin at the thrift store. There ain't much to do except get achievements, and honestly, you can knock those out faster than a cheetah chasing a cheeto (except that 1080 no megaramp thingy, it gave me more trouble than trying to fold a fitted sheet). Good for killing time.
Imagine the possibilities if they added custom steam workshop support. I'd go wilder than a raccoon in a dumpster buffet. But hey, it is what it is.

A unique 2D platformer RPG where you take on the role of a cheerful bard aiming to save the world with his singing. The game places an emphasis on music and harmony over traditional RPG heroics. The abilities of the music wheel change with each stage, making the gameplay charming, creative, and fresh. The characters, though quite simple in design, have distinguishing features. Interacting with them brings forth a touching narrative that explores themes of compassion in the face of adversity and overcoming insecurities.

Overall, it's an uplifting and touching adventure that fills you with hope and joy.

ps the game has problems running on high refresh rate monitors. I'd recommend running the game on 60fps capped (change this from NVIDIA control panel or equivalent steps for AMD/Intel GPUs as there is no fps limiter setting in-game)
