i really liked playing this game. decently short (i beat it in 45 minutes), fun pulp sci-fi story, an interesting art style, and a steady sense of progression. however, i would like to give some constructive criticism. i think that the game is a little too straightforward, and could have benefit from some side areas that you could explore, or possibly being able to sequence break. also, the game does lack variety in gameplay, with its bosses having extremely similar attack patterns (except for the acid serpent! that one was fun.) this last point is a little bit more subjective and pointless, but i also felt that the game deserved a little more polish than it got, with a little bit better writing in the story logs, a little bit more work with the sound, and a little bit more work put into the settings menu, but this doesn't really detract too much from the game. in all, i'd say that this is a fun little game that you should pick up on sale!

really good, i think it's a perfect return to form for the series. i only have one gripe and it's that it begins to get a little bit samey in the middle. still really good level design and art, the enemy designs are modernized in a way that feels natural, and the big fraggin gun is in this game, you heard that right fellers. anyway now that i've written a review for a game that's 5 years old now i'm going to install doom eternal and hate it

this game is pretty sexy in a jank imsim way. its movement system feels extremely fluid. there's many ways to approach its objectives, creating a game with immense replay value. the visuals are like grindhouse operating system clipart. its good

IMO it's the best Counter-Strike game, even though it's pretty much dead (sadly). It's still worth getting for bot matches, garrysmod textures and models, and visiting the many empty Dust2 [NO AWP] servers out there. 8/10

Seriously, picked this game up in a 2pack, and it's the ultimate play-over-a-12-pack'oCoke-and-a-pizza game.

Game is more akin to Penumbra, not Half Life, the game that is made with the same engine.
