Worthy of the hype.

Super fun. The dialog is great. At this review I've completed the first campaign and I basically binged it all day. It's been on my wishlist for a little bit now and I've always been reluctant to pull the trigger because I wasn't sure it was going to be for me but I'm really glad I did.

This game was a huge disappointment and an absolute waste of money. I'd be hard pressed to even recommend it on a steep discount as there are so many other games that sit around the $10 range that'd be worth spending your time on. If you've got an ARPG itch go with PoE or Grim Dawn. Last Epoch is a pretty enjoyable playthough, though it's missing something. I would rather do a playthough of Diablo 3 than touch Torchlight 3 again. I mean, even a launch-time Wolcen had more value that this game. If you really really must play torchlight, they already made 2 of them that are great and you can get both of them for a lesser combined price than this steaming turd.

Super fun. Plays very smooth. There are definitely some places they need to work on improvements but I've had this game for a while now, 9 months or so, and they've done so much in that time I'm sure they will. These guys are putting in the work and it shows. The game is like $10. It's worth much more than that. Pick it up, play with it, play with some different build approaches, die, try again. Like I said, super fun.

Edit: The price is jumping up to $20 with the release of a bunch of new content. Absolutely 100% still one hell of a deal at full price.
