If you suffer from any of these side effects, as a result of taking Mordhau, DO NOT stop taking Mordhau; that just means it's working, you'll be fine.

Who'd've thought that launching a bunch of kittens out of a cannon could be so cathartic?

I think a lot of people are just down voting this on the basis that it's "just another workshop DLC" and that is completely understandable, some people don't enjoy the settlement mode. Personally I think this should be the best out of the three workshop DLC's, you have a lot of new parts to work with and I love being able to create my own Vault. I think it could have had a lot of potential...

...if it even worked. Unfortunately a major pathfinding bug makes building a vault pointless and frustrating. I really want to like this, but in its current form I can't recommend it

Just like in a regular settlement, you would assign an NPC to a task and they would do it, however NPCs can't walk through the vault's doorways. Why bother building a vault if the inhabitants are all trapped in a single room?

Another (minor) bug can be found with the Pip Boys that you can distribute to the settlers. You are given a stack of them to hand out, but only one NPC will actually bother equipping it, the rest just leave it in their inventory.

If Bethesda bother to fix the pathfinding issue (which I doubt they will, they'll probably leave it up to modders to fix), I will change my recommendation. Until then, I'll leave it as it is.

Update:
So I just found another bug, this time it's to do with power. So I return to my vault after saving a settlement from attack, when I notice that I've lost all my power. So I take a look at the reactor (provided free, unmovable) and realise it's been damaged by something. I honestly have no clue what's caused it to get damaged.

"Ok I'll just repair it" I think to myself. Only to find that, for some reason, you are not given the option to repair it like any other broken power source. Now I have to waste a tonne of materials building a brand new reactor because the one provided decided to break for no reason.

(Recent edit was for grammar. Haven't played in ages, so not sure if my review still applies. You'll have to check the patch notes, from around the time this was first published.)

As long as you have a good understanding about balance and weight distribution this game is very fun to mess around on. Personally I find this very fun to play on and so far (as of when I'm writing this) I haven't spent a penny on it because you don't need to. If you choose to go down the F2P route then you will find yourself strapped for cash as each block/part/weapon costs in-game currencies which means micro-transactions are a thing. If you have the patience, you can earn these currencies by playing games over and over but this will leave you trapped in the lower-tier ranks for a while. But any micro-transactions are optional and besides the frustration of watching your machine fail and topple, this is a fun game to play.

Exclusivity is a terrible, anti-consumer practice. If you want to draw people to your storefront: make it a compelling experience, have decent offers, reward loyalty. Don't snatch up all the games people want to play and start walling them off; nobody likes it when Origin and Bethesda[dot]net do it with their own titles, so why should we accept it from a third-party storefront?

It's bad enough delaying the release for rival platforms; but this removes consumer choice completely, unless they just ♥♥♥♥-out and don't play it at all.

Well if this is how Skybound and Telltale want to do it, then so be it. They can go to hell if they think I'll fund anything by them, after they've sucked up to Epic Games' cruddy tactics.

Rant over.

In terms of the game itself, it is a compelling story. Worth playing through a few times to see what effects your choices actually make (not a great deal, besides who lives and dies, and who thinks you're a saint/knob) .
Game play is a bit lacking, it's a point-and-click: you walk to things, click them, press keys when prompted, etc...
Didn't care much for the sequels, if you do decide to get it.
The DLC was forgettable.

Buy it on sale, or don't.
I don't care anymore.
This was a waste of time, for a game that isn't even listed anymore.
