History:

I've been gaming since the early Atari years (70s) and in and out of arcades (80s) then on to the consoles and on Pc games:7days:when they got good enough to enjoy. Since then I've been rebuilding arcade machines, collecting old consoles, and collecting PC games and playing pretty constantly. Kids don't respect OG gamers, who were gamers before gaming was a thing, but ignorance is a common thing (and encuraged) these days.

I was an "original" Toys R Us kid :)

Modern Young Gamers:
I've noticed a very warped idealism among young gamers. They are all wrapped around how many kills they make. They forget that how many times they "don't" die is actually more important. Any moron can die a lot and kill a lot, but it takes real SKILL to stay alive longer.

Toxic Players/Discussers:
I have absolutely no use for them and if they suddenly just all died at once i wouldn't lose a wink of sleep. These people have an unhealthy, almost twisted-sexual desire to "mess" with people gaming or in discussion groups...and "facts" mean NOTHING to them, they just want to keep the fight going...and when the lose to you (logically) they 'report' you to Steam (it's "b*tch move") but they do it to win the argument they usually started. Do i believe people like this should be taken out and beaten to within an inch of their lives....actually yes. Why? Because in this society (that let's them get away with anything) it's the ONLY thing they might learn a lesson from...or prison. Pain is the best teacher of lessons their is, just ask yourself after you grabbed a hot pan for the first time....you LEARN not to do it again.

A word about characters you choose as your game avatar:
If you wanna play a female, and you're a guy, good for you. Go for it. But don't get all righteous on the people that might question it or wanna do their own thing. I don't really care if you identify with an egg-plant, just don't try and force your point of view down other people's throats and DON'T assume only you have rights. People like that truly sicken me.

My current layout:
PC:
HP Gaming Rig TC01-0023W
24GB RAM
(OS) SSD + 4 SSD (Games)
Radeon RX 5500 XT (8 GB)
Tri-Monitor Setup (Sceptres)
Drive Tower (4 bay)
(Gamers with $1500+ game systems do not impress me. I took the best products, for the best price that can be afforded and made it work. I don't need to see every blade of grass in 4K)

VR:
(2) Oculus Quest 2 (256 GB) Headset fully modded. Oculus Original Oculus Touch too.
Pico 4 Headset
Infrared Lighting System

Arcade:
1UP Pac-Man Legacy, 1UP Tempest, 1UP Simpsons
Legends Ultimate Arcade Machine (with the 50,000 USB game mod)
Legends Ultimate Pinball Machine (with a PC pinball mod for 'real' pinball looking tables):steammocking:

What's really bad: I actually had to put an "abandoned" and "outdated" areas to my game list.

Oh, one thing i HAD to add: Some of the forum people are SO uptight. You joke around about something and they get all "literal" as if you're challenging their so-called 'authority' on stuff....HILARIOUS.

Update on this: I will be posting less in discussions from now on. Steam has become hard PC leftist and bent knee to special interest groups and you're not allowed to have any sense of humor that might offend the "sensitive" people and i don't mean the 'real' fun words, i mean words that are so light beer they're not even offensive words. What happened to freedom of expression?

Final Word - I don't care for "lazy" game coders who would rather add content than fix existing content. It's like putting a band-aid on a shark bite. Coders need hard/constructive feedback. They don't need coddling, by gamers, being told how "awesome" they are (until it's finished) and gamers don't need to act like 'attack dogs' on forum when people criticize their work.

I've been wrestling with the Dayz server (wow, what a pile of self-destructive code that is) and trying to retain my sanity with it (literally) changing it's mind (daily) on what mods are valid and what aren't.

Hey Kilroy, I hope you're doing well! It's been a while since we chatted and you may not remember me. I'm one of the developers who made Stars End. I'm contacting you to let you know that I recently responded to your review with some new info about SE.

We just released a new update for the game that makes a lot of improvements, including a complete rework of the character art. You can read about the full update here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/623340/discussions/0/3105764536439013901/

Please give the game a chance again soon!
