Playtest Update: Closing This Monday

Hi all,
Our first public Steam Playtest has been an incredible milestone for NO CLEAN START. Over the last few days, thousands of you have stepped into the facility, faced its punishing mechanics, and pushed our systems to their absolute limits.

To say the response has been a massive success would be an understatement. Seeing players adapt to resource scarcity, grapple with inventory choices, and improvise under extreme pressure is exactly what we hoped for when we set out to build this passion project.

From the entire team: Thank you. Your willingness to play, fail, and share your experiences means the world to us.

If you haven't had a chance to test your survival instincts yet, or if you want to squeeze in a few more runs, your window is closing.
The Steam Playtest will officially conclude this Monday.
This is your final opportunity to jump in for the time being. If you haven't registered, playtest spots are still open until the doors close. Head over to our Steam Store Page and click "Request Access" to get immediate entry.

We haven't just been watching you play; we’ve been listening closely. The sheer volume of constructive feedback we've received has given us exactly the data we needed.
• Already Implemented: We have already pushed internal hotfixes and adjustments addressing some of the immediate balancing and pacing details you highlighted.
• In Development: We are actively breaking down longer-term feedback regarding enemy behaviors, visual clarity, and progression scaling to refine the loop for future builds.
This is exactly why we wanted a controlled playtest—to validate our balancing and iron out wrinkles alongside our community.
Thank you once again for making this milestone so special. Grab your gear, watch your step, and let’s make these final playtest hours count.

See you inside.
