Subject: Request to Reconsider the Ban on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Gambling

By allowing regulated and responsible CS:GO gambling, the government has the opportunity to generate tax revenue and create a safer environment for participants.

I propose the following measures to address the concerns surrounding CS:GO gambling:

Age Verification: Implement strict age verification processes on gambling platforms to prevent minors from participating.

Regulation: Establish a regulatory body to oversee CS:GO gambling activities, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance with existing gambling laws.

Responsible Gambling Education: Promote responsible gambling practices through education and awareness campaigns.

Taxation: Introduce taxation on CS:GO gambling revenues to contribute to public funds.

Consumer Protection: Enforce strict rules to protect consumers from fraudulent activities and ensure that gambling websites adhere to ethical standards.

Transparency: Require gambling platforms to disclose odds and winning chances, allowing participants to make informed decisions.

Problem Gambling Support: Allocate a portion of the revenue generated from CS:GO gambling to fund programs for problem gambling prevention and treatment.

I believe that by implementing these measures, the government can strike a balance between safeguarding the interests of the public and preserving the freedom of adults to engage in CS:GO gambling responsibly.

I kindly request that you reconsider the ban on CS:GO gambling in Belgium and explore the possibility of regulating and controlling this activity instead.
