A what would be a great game - plagued with hundreds of awful decisions.

I really tried to enjoy this game. I gave it more and more time, but it got worse, not better, as I progressed.

Reacting to attacks is impossible in real time. You need to know timing of them, cause none of the animations are cancellable. Any attack, jump, spell, heal will play out the full animation without letting you cancel it or react in any way - which makes the character feel extremely unresponsive in battle.

The hitboxes of enemy attacks are unintuitive. An enemy hits the ground with a mace? Yeah, touching this mace 1s later deals you the same damage as if it hit you directly. There is no indication which attacks you can dash through, jump over, block, parry - which just forces you to die over and over again to learn the basics, artificially rasing dificulty and playtime.

Bosses are not hard, just annoying due to lack of conveyed information. You will die over and over not because you don't react in time, but because the game doesn't telegraph during which attacks you are able to jump over the boss / dash through. Additionally, sometimes bosses introduce new mechanics - like hitting back magical attacks, and you are supposed to figure out that one attack can be hit back, without any visual indication. Again, you will die dozens of times again until you hit this attack by accident, figure out it can be done, and the boss becomes trivial.

I encountered quite a few bugs around climbing on a platform. This mechanic, while required and crucial for platforming, does not work on certain angles and platforms, and sometimes causes you to get hard-stuck in place without being able to move at all and forcing a restart.

Keyboard keybindings not only are awful (binding one action to numerical keyboard? really? what if someone doesn't have numpad?), some are not even shown anywhere in the game (scrolling text desciption of items uses H and Y, without mentioning it anywhere).

There is no easy way to close the game. You need to use M (map) -> O (options) -> Exit to Menu -> Exit.
How hard is it to enable options on Esc and add "Exit Game" to it?

Certain key places are not marked on the map, like shops (that you want to get back to). It catches you off-guard (as most important places are clearly marked), adding to the irritation and wasted time running around the map.

Instead of enabling quick travel early, it's locked behind a big cost forcing it to be a late-game upgrade, artificially adding even more game time.

The music is decent. I liked where they were going with the story. The aesthetics hit really hard and it makes the game a very unique experience - but due to all the bullcrap packed into it, it's not an experience I'm willing to subject myself to any longer.

Short, aesthetically pleasing platformer puzzle game. The puzzles are creative, and despite being short the game was really fun to play.

You will have a great experience if you like chess already, and even better one if you like other grid-based logic games, like "Baba is you". Worth giving a try!

Short, but engaging and satisfying, Smooth combat and movement. Great story. What more could you want from a platformer?

An amazing, really challenging adventure.
Awesome story with great depiction of emotional struggle.

One of the best platformers that ever existed.

Good amount of fun.
+ much more with tens of available mods.
If you liked some deck-building games like Slay the Spire, you will like this dice-building(?) game as well.
On top of great gameplay, the OST is amazing

I had a lot of fun with it a few years ago.
Now it's just impossible to play it, it crashes basically everywhere.
It's sad, I wish they fixed it.

Przeurocza.

Niezwykle przyjemne sterowanie, wspaniała oprawa graficzna, poziomy stawiają wyzwanie, nie będąc przy tym frustrującymi.

Polecam każdemu miłośnikowi platformówek
